how can you get through the day if you really really believe that A&E changed the story and Neal will stay dead?
I am not questioning anyone here, I am trying to learn from you.
how do you keep posting posts and reading posts and being on these forums if you truly believe that the story as we knew it has been trashed?
Well, I get through my days pretty easy to be honest and I don’t mean that to be flippant or anything. This is just a TV show though and most TV shows don’t really affect my life as a whole other than bumming me out when they go down the toilet. My life as a whole hasn’t changed much since OUAT went to crap. I still go to work, I still talk to my friends, I still watch other shows, I still get out of my house for various activities, I still go to church, I still love to travel and keep planning more stuff for this summer….OUAT screwing over their story didn’t ruin my actual life. It made me sad/angry that they could just throw away story that they spent 2.5 years building and that little part of me will probably never be over it, but my life as a whole has gone on fine and honestly, talking about it here or on Twitter or wherever helps me get it all out so it doesn’t creep into the other aspects of my life. I don’t let it do that because I know that that would be really unhealthy for me. Just because I have my emo moments here doesn’t mean the rest of my life has gone to crap because of this TV show. I don’t want to speak for the others, this is just how I’ve dealt with things, but I actually think a lot of the folks here might agree with me on how they’ve been dealing with it too.

Did we get some random pages back?! I was on one page a little while ago and then suddenly I had to scroll ahead like ten pages to catch up with our conversation. The board is weird this week, LOL
Anyway, I was asked last night to rewrite my “Step by Step Plan for Letting Go of OUAT” thing that got eaten by the board yesterday so I’m going to try to write it out again. Bear with me….I was up late celebrating Meryl & Maks winning the Mirrorball Trophy on DWTS last night, LOL
1. Decide whether or not to watch the S3 finale….CHECK. I decided not to watch it and I still haven’t over a week later. I’ve watched the SF scene and I may go back and find a few other non Hook related scenes with the Charming family at some point but I have no intention of watching the CS fan fiction movie as of right now and I think my fandom life is much better for that decision. 🙂
2. Unfollow any official OUAT accounts on Twitter, Facebook, or Tumblr that drive me crazy…CHECK. The official ABC accounts were becoming more horrible every week so leaving those behind wasn’t a big loss and holy cow, unfollowing AH alone made my fandom life SO much better.
3. Unfollow any friends who drive me crazy and grab hold of the ones who make me happy….CHECK. *HUG TACKLES THREAD*
4. Change background on my phone to something non OUAT related….CHECK. I am now the owner of a phone with an awesome MRJ background (picture posted about two pages ago) and it’s actually becoming very distracting because, well, it’s MRJ staring back at me on my phone and he’s adorable.
5. Unfollow the cast members if they drive me too crazy…..NOT QUITE YET. Most of them really haven’t driven me that crazy because they don’t even tweet about the show anymore. I really do love this entire cast and I don’t want to unfollow any of them (though I did unfollow Colin because I needed some sanity) but if #TeamGG doesn’t knock off their annoying RTs soon, Ginny Goodwin is going to be my first Twitter cast member casualty. SERIOUSLY.
That’s where I’m at right now and I seriously give those of you who aren’t giving up the show mad props because I just can’t see myself going back to this crap in the fall. The show has become something unrecognizable, unenjoyable, and unappealing to me now and I have enough other TV that I still enjoy so I don’t feel the need to waste my time with this one anymore. That actually makes me more angry now than sad because this show had SO MUCH POTENTIAL for greatness and they threw all of that down the toilet in about 11 episodes.
And like yesterday, i will say that i did all this on that crazy night( 30th of March), only follow now MRJ, RC and EDR, and this last is on sort of probation, bc if she starts tweeting and RT ouat things, she is off also, in fact i blocked , the cast, oaut sites, and writers to make sure they dont appear on my twiter and on tumblr i use the tumblr saviour to make sure nothing related to ouat spoiler, CS and other things appear on my dash.

To me what doesnt make sense, ok, all S3B and some parts of S3A dont make sense, but in terms of writing what doesnt fit , not even going to mention the OOCness of the characters, is that since is pretty obvious they killed Neal to make CS, is that they kept bringing Neal on flashbacks, becuase lets be real, and lets talk about episodes, on 316 to show the crap funeral they showed, that could have happened off screen ( god knows that the major plot lines happen off screen), the same with Henry remenber neal and showing that crap gravestoan, im sure they could have found another person to send the message like a back up plan from Snow, to have Hook on guard to go to Emma, to show SF on 322, im sure they could have replace Neal by Henry in other situation, and the baby being called Neal, when they could have gone with graham or lancelot( connected to snow and charming), that is what i dont understand, why show to the GA that Neal was important, and like 5 seconds later show rumple and emma simply dont care about him, i mean even with the name choice( that i think is bad), some how snow and charming showed they care more about Neal than the other 3 persons directly connected to him, Rumple, Emma and Henry, that seemed to forgot that he had a father and that everything is ok, wih him being dead, ( not mention Hook and Belle, just bc this 2 simply forgot that they shared some time with Neal/Bae). I would like to know many things about this Neal death thing, but since we will never know, WHY they keep bringing Neal?, im sure is not to please the SF and Neal/Bae fans, bc is obvious that they dont care about us, they mock us, they show in their answers that we werent important, that whole trend Hope for Neal is still something that makes me angry, being called great fans and the character was already dead like one month before, the pic after 315( from both Adam and Josh), the way the media treated MRJ( not even a exit interview), and the way the cast simply ignore him( they could have spoke in private, but still is a good PR job to say it in public) and even the network that made a great job when sandra Oh from grey`s left( and made like a whole video about the character greatest moments)and the writers(all of them, not only adam and eddie), that simply acted like the death was no big deal, and neal was never important and was just appeared to make him made peace with rumple and show who was henry father, but just to show , bc he really doesnt need his bio father, bc has 2 mothers, grandparents and soon 2 new stepfathers, hook and after they kill marian( bc they will kill her)Robin.
Since i cannot change things, that is what i wanted to know, why you keep bringing Neal of fb? he is dead, so i would prefer never to see him again, and since they make the characters OOC and so many things happen off screen, simply dont show the characters talking about him or mention him, and since they like Jamie and graham so much, they should have give his name to the baby, and make the GA forget that Neal ever existed.
Really hope that MRJ new project is a TV show, that has success and that he learned an important lesson, never get involve with this writers anymore( i know i did, bc i refuse to see future A/E projects), not get involve with this network without guarantees, and if he has other things, to say, No, to future appearances on ouat.

@Lisa you are right, we never know what happened and MRJ is profissional, but still if he has other things, he may say to ouat that he doesnt have time to do anything and he has all rights to do that, i mean they brought Graham, Cora for 1 episode but like 1 year or more after they died, but Neal they kept bringing him of fbs this season, if he is so important why kill him? If Neal was alive we would need to see more fb of him, but since he is dead, the fbs they talked about was the ones we saw this year, i mean he doesnt have story with Rumple on S2 and S3 besides the one we saw, during the past year, there is not anything else to see, with Henry the times they were together we saw them also and they didnt had many days together, with emma, i really wish they are not cruel to show us emma and hook dating and see in the past emma and neal, for what? to somehow show neal as the vilain and how hook is now someone that treats emma like a princess? I really hope that MRJ learn the lesson and say no to them, like im sorry but you wanted me out, so now i dont go back. Also i dont think ABC want a remind next season and others, if the show has them, that neal ever existed. For ABC the only neal that exists now is the baby, the other is dead and buried, and we saw that when they unfollowed MRJ and Dylan last year and then this year they simply said was an error.
Just a note: I was reading the ACS and i saw something , Jen said in a interview that Hook helps emma with her magic, but im sorry, was Regina that taught her and was bc of Neal that she got her powers back, this is another proof that the cast has now prepared answers to say good things about Hook and another proof of ABC being part responsable for this new couple on ouat.

My opinion i think we wont see Neal again, and think MRJ doesnt want to return either, he is probably hurt by the network, the writers about this whole issue. He returned in 319 and 322 bc he was obliged by contract until the end of this season, also since both epis were written by A/E i see them writing those scenes and MRJ filmed them on jan /fb when he was still in Van, for example the 322 scene, there was a day that MRJ said he was having breakfast at work, so fits on that scene.
Can i say that after seing everything related to Sandra Oh leaving Grey`s, is a bit sad like the cast, network,prodution( cannot forget that they let some strangers won set to take pics on 316 funeral scenes) and even writers dealed with this, when a actor has to come justify the why his character dies and only after the creators came talk, that only means something really big happened. I mean Greys didnt hide their sadness by sandra leaving, showed pics of her and she was present on the wrap party of greys, unlike MRJ that was not, even MC was there. So i see now MRJ not bounded by contract say No, to others fbs, and since in young bae although there is many things to see, i wont think they will show it, unless is in a epi about hook, to show how he looked for bae in nvl and they made peace with each other, this can be use to show a parallel about hook on SB with henry. Just that, i see them showing young bae , in order to show hook as a hero and suitor to emma.

Me too, and would be ironic, died on OUAT OZ arc and after goes to a Tv show that happens on OZ. Im really like very exicted about this new show and i dont even know details about it, my only fear about it is, it`s a mid season show, so i fear for the ratings in this mid seasons shows.

Really hope is a Tv show, of course a movie is also great, but with a tv show we get more chances to see him during more time.

For me the show finale was 310, not even 311, im making my own final on 310. However, if by september i decide that bc of frozen i may go back watching live stream or read spoilers even if i dont see the show, my thought to go through the season will be that in my mind Neal/Bae was still not found, so 214 and all epis after still didnt happened, so i will go that way, in that case the epis from 311 to 322 dont exist, and S4( if is the last) will come after 212 and then after 422 comes 213 to 310, that will be my way of going throught the show.
So if S4 is the final season this is how the show will play in my mind: S1, S2 until 212, 401 to 422( i may eliminate some epis about Cs in this season) and then 213 to 310. This will be the edit in my head if in september im still thinking about seing the show, which by now, doesnt look like i will, i dont see since 314 and even before the epis ( 312-313) were for me very boring, so im kind of accepting this better than i thought, of course also helps i have more problems in my life than thinking about the show.

@Ranisha i agree with you about Frozen, there is only one problem, the GA is waiting for Frozen, not Snow Queen, bc on the 1st Elsa is not a villain, and on the second she is, and if they go play Elsa as a villain i see many and many families not watching the show, if Neal/Bae started, i see Elsa end it, bc no way the GA will accept a Snow Queen, they want Frozen, and no way they want Elsa as a villain. And since they pratically admited that Elsa comes with a revenge story against Rumple that the next season may be the beggining of the end, in fact i dont see them having a S5, and if they have it will be for a small season.
They may also want frozen to gain new viewers, but that is the thing, that means that the new viewers to keep with the epis, will watch previous seasons, and i really would like to know what will they say, about how S3 erase S1 and S2.
Also the only reason why the media, still isnt saying bad things about the show is Cs, the couple that the online media loves, bc if emma said no on S3 finale, i would see the media pointing all the bad things the show has.
