I truly have no idea whose the biggest victim on this show?

It also drives me nuts the way they give away one character’s storyline to another character, and then retcon the original character. Hook = Mashup of Emma and Rumple at this point.
A ridiculous side thought: I wonder if we got Vampire Diaries to blame for Hook. Colin looks vaguely similar to Ian Somerhalder, and it was also a “villain flip” sort of thing. I can just see the ABC execs take a look at CW’s success with VD, and go “Hrrmm. They’re doing really well with their 18-34 female demographic, and recruiting teens too. Oh look, this Damon character, he is popular. Why don’t we have one of those?”

Maybe i mean katherine death was equal to Neal`s and some writers from TVD worked on buffy with jane and there is a writer from ouat that worked on tvd on s1. The diference is, they dont say all was planned dozen of years ago, in fact, all cast of pretty vocal on public that they dont like certain aspects of the characters and of certain things that happen on the show.

But if it’s true that MRJ did not want to leave the show and he was not fired and it really WAS “bold storytelling”, than maybe. MRJ could make time for both shows.
After all, I heard A and E handpicked him and Belle. Maybe because they knew these two will have a very small but hugely significant part…?Maybe hook and pan would be the big bad and underworld is the new neverland?
Why would A and E hand-pick actors?

Well is not like MRJ can come and say yeah they written me off bc they are bad people that sold me a story and did other bc they went with someone hot than me.
Like @RG said, if Gos was in cable or netflix he could have chance of not being regular, but make recurring appearances, but is not, NBC and ABC wont share an actor, MRJ cant be promoting abc and nbc things at same time. The same way why we wont see ouat people mention GOS , bc they cant say go see this, bc means they are saying dont see ABC, go see NBC.
Abour Hook and Pan Pan is only for epi 512, like most of the characters, only Dorothy, hades and Cruella will appears in several epis, all the others are like 1 epi guest, probably to make them make peace with others and move on. Also Hook is the same hook that S4 and 5 have, according to spoilers, no vilain, in fact i bet even the villain ( haves) will have some lame story, that may end with him going to SB to join the idiot group.

wasn’t in it then i wouldn’t even try it. I have a hard time imagining that staying on the air, but who knows maybe it will be better then it looks. The problem being that if it looks bad a lot of people won’t even give it a chance.
I wouldnt say is bad, especially bc you still didnt saw it, for me is good, but that is bc i saw Sleepers movie, i saw the Turkish version, so the story has everything to be a hit and they did some changes which is making me curious about it, buti would say is not the type of shows that fans that ONLY like the sci fi, supernatural and fantasy genre will like, unless they want to expande their tv show genres.
I would say Gos is like a mix of sleeps, Suskunlar, SVU, bloodlines, mystic river, Revenge and in a way Jessica jones, bc deals how kids that are sexual abused in childhood grow with that secret and how they are influenced by what happened in the past and how they interact with others and with their abusers when they meet them again 25 years later and their revenge against the bad ones and since i spoiled part of it, their revenge happens, bc one of the 4 boys is killed by one of the bad ones, when he tries to tell everyone what happened 25 years ago.Also the pilot, was one of the most wanted pilots by all networks and chanels and NBC ended paying lots of money to get the rights and today was released by one media, that GoS is one of the best NBC midseason shows, but they also said u belong to a certain type of person to see it:

But the end is, even if GoS doesnt get a S2, that doesnt mean Neal will be back on the show, the writers gone to far, no way will they bring Neal back, yeah we can all say, Neal is connected to Rumple and Henry, but now they only care about ships, to them Emma is the only connection to Neal, so no way they will not make CS, and in their minds, Neal means no CS, which wont happen.
And if no S2 GoS i hope MRJ stay far away from ouat, bc im mostly MRJ fan, so i want him to do good, nt being traped in a show where is evident most of tha cast is no longer happy, in fact i would say Sean and bex are the only ones that are happy, all the others probably praying for cancellation.I think it’s definitely a “niche” show — but then again, so is OUAT. But I bet it’ll bring in fans from different fandoms. It’s from the same execs as Saturday Night Lights, and that has a serious audience and was very very well received by critics, so I bet at least some of those fans will give GoS a whirl. Didn’t they also do CSI?
Suskunlar’s plot isn’t all that original, but every time it’s been done, it’s gotten critical acclaim: (similar plot lines were in The Sleepers, Mystic River… and maybe a stretch, but The Kite Runner has some of the same themes). I’m gonna guess they changed things up for the American version, but I’m betting that the network picked it up because that sort of story has done pretty darn well with both critics and audiences in the past. I know it’s based on a foreign show, but the formula is well-tested on a US audience.
Yes, the show runner was Exe-prod from Friday night lights, Parenthood and the others exe-producers are the team from CSI, there is one that is also director that directed House MD, Dominion, LOST, there is one that was Exe-prod from LOST, the creators of the Turkish show are also Exe producers and the rwiters are also amazing, all of these people, except for the turkish ones, all won several emmys, not to mention that are oscars and emmy winners in the crew and the directors all won emmys.
Fact: the composer also won emmys and oscars and has lots of soundtracks to do this year, being The Jungle Book of Disney one of them.Like i said before Bloodlines also fits this list, also with lots of success on netflix. Everyone says is a dark cable show, so i bet NBC is expecting those sort of ratings, and if there is place for GOS in cable audience that same audience may see the show on a network, in the end all will depends of how heavy will NBC promote it.

The Swan Keychain is another thing they want us to forget – the last time it appeared was in 4×11 (Emma Ingrid flashback), now we have Hook’s ring, that’s just great.
The last apperance was in 422, u can see that Emma has 2 necklaces when she takes the darkness, is after in S5 that both necklaces and graham shoelace disapeared.

i will NOT watch unless i hear that swanfire is cannon AND that Gold is a hero. In other words, until i hear that it WAS a good story after all
Nope, sorry wont happen.
1st the writers no longer care about Gold and if they ever call him hero in canon, is probably to mention how a future RB baby made him one, bc that baby was more important than Bae , since is a TL baby
2nd Swanfire wont ever be canon again, bc Neal is dead, MRJ wont be back to the show, since he has a new show where he is important and in the best of cases who knows may have a s2, finally, the writers dont care about Sf or Neal and in the case of they care like 1% for Neal, there is more chance of them de age Neal and bring young Bae, maybe without memories of what happened to be raise by Rumple, Belle and the new baby

I want to consult with you about Game of Silence, I really want to watch it, but I’m hesitant about it because after OUAT has betrayed me (and frankly not just OUAT), I feel like dropping network TV all together because I don’t know if the writers will be truthfull to the story and characters or just gonna do everything according to fans and ratings. Maybe it’s just best if I stick with cables and net series cause they do care about the quality of what they produce. What do you think?
When game of silence premiere, they already filmed all season 1, so they cant do any fan service, also GoS is considered dark and cable story and NBC decided to pick it bc was good, so they pick a show that they know may not have huge ratings, but the quality of the writing and story was good. Sounds promising and I do like when seasons are produced before they are aired because things won’t change based on fans’ reaction and it would tell a much more cohesive story. However, it seems like the source had only 2 seasons and 28 episodes. The question is what happens when they outrun the source material and continue for more seasons? I’ll give it a try because it does sound good and it is aimed for a much more mature crowd so it probably won’t have the shipping curse. I just hope I won’t get disappointed and be stuck with another show that should’ve ended sooner rather than later like so many others.
The turkish version had 28 episodes of 90 minutes each episode, they based the GoS on that show, but they didnt do a copy, they insert lots of new things, new characters, in fact in suskular they only had 4 regular people, now they have 8,but the answer to your question is on the interview pane, where they say that S1 has a beginnig, middle and end, after if they get a S2, they will not go the way the Turkish show did of S2, they will make a new one, they hint that they leave space to do other stories and that they have those stories already planned in their heads if they get a S2.
Also i can confirmed that this cast, crew and writers are the more down to earth people, they actually talk with fans and thank them bc they want, not bc of shallow reasons like OUAT people, mostly is bc the cast is not very known, but ther crew has people that worked in all great movies filmed in ATL, the writers were in parenthood, dexter, etc and the directors are also great, they have one that played Robocop ( peter weller), they have other directors that directed Mr Robot, dominion, CSI, House md and others.
In fact if u tweet them, they mostly tweet u back even if takes a bit, in my personal twiter im followed by several cast menbers and directors. In the fan page that i founded and co admin and were we treat all cast menbers by equal, we have many crew, cast ,writers and directors following us, and in fact they tag us on their tweets about the show, tho still didnt get MRJ to follow the page.

It would still make the most sense for the LGBT pairing to include Mulan, given what’s been set up.
I swear if Mulan is not in the LGBT relationship, I’m gonna flip. That season in season 2 was so heart wrenching. It made me genuinely love Mulan. Her motivations finally made sense. To throw that out as if it didn’t happen, just to change the story to fit the narrative, would really piss me off.
Well there is a thing, was set up for the fandom, but was never actually set up in canon show, Mulan never said she was in love by Aurora and if you dont read spoilers or follow the fandom i bet that GA thought that she was in love by Philipp and not Aurora.
I know of several people from GA that when they saw those scenes and me and some other friends told them that appears that she was in love with Aurora, these GA people were shoked bc they didnt got that vibe, they got the vibe that Mulan was in love with Philip but was conflited bc she saw Aurora as a friend, they didnt get any Mulan is lesbian vibe at all.
I still say is Ruby and Dorothy the couple, since they are not connected to the world of Disney, like Mulan is so they have mer freedom to do what they want and that Mulan is probably only a decoy to send the fandom in another direction and since A&E still didnt confirmed media that was to make a lGBT couple the reason why they brought Mulan.

Oh, btw: this must mean that the new writer Brigitte Hales is writing 519. I’d lay odds that Jane is doing 520 with A and E doing both parts of the finale (521, 522) like they did last season with 4B
Actually i think 519 is Jane is writting with the new writer, no way would they let a new writer write alone and brigitte even said her 1/2 of the script in some tweet and since this arc has 12 episodes, A&E may write 522/523.
