This show became about villains getting their happy endings

Alright so it’s been bugging me all day, because when Robbie did this
in the sneak peek I knew it looked familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on it

try as you may you won’t get that much realism and depth again…they are talking about flying monkeys and peter pan yet the conversation seem so natural and ease that it doesn’t seem out of the ordinary. It was their own private joke. Here they are these two beings who come from fairytales and fantasy, but they had such a realism about them that made them that you could relate. Emma was the gateway, Neal the bridge that connected the fairy tales to reality. I would love to see more one and one conversations like this.
It didn’t have to be romance, it could have been a deep friendship and bond between two people who love each other and truly get each other on deep level. Two people with a great deal of hurt are able get past the pain, so they can find a nugget of happiness, and still able to truly hope for the best for the other party and their son and their family.
Its quite a travesty the way it ended.. quite a travesty in deed.
