@KFC if they played up Neal and Emma as the tragic love story I could understand accept that. However the whole second chances, being there always for Henry, lets me know that Neal, Emma, and Henry was not set up as a tragic love story. The whole hugging their parents on the Jolly Roger showed that the lost boy and lost girl were suppose to get that home and second chance with a family. Also there would have been positive buildup with Emma and Neal bonding,talking, going on those dates, have that true love kiss (come on, you know they are. 😉 ). Neal and His Dad talking spending time together, Neal and his Son talking and spending time together. Neal and his love’s family talking and spending time together. Neal and his new friends, Robin and Belle talking and spending time together. Allowing them to finally have that thanksgiving type dinner. Neal truly experiencing those things he missed so much out in life, home and family. If Neal at the end of the day, dies because there was no other way, but like Charming, I’m willing to die for my family. I can accept that has trully fulfilled story arch. But with Neal his story arch ended with a cliffhanger effect with wtf was that and why?
@Slurp I am shock of how down played Robert C has gotten, Rumple used to be the big thing S1 and S2, R&R, Charming family, now its just basically Hook and Regina. Go figure.
S1 ratings were really high even S2 ratings are higher than season 3. Season 3 I believe is their lowest season which is why they brought in Elsa and Frozen franchise.

1 finale:Â 9.66, season 2: 7.33Â the season 3:6.80.
If things continue is this trend season 4 finale would probably be around 5 million, that is ELSA marketing strategy doesn’t work. Now here’s the thing, I am interested in Snow Queen others or most are interested in Frozen. It would be interesting to see where A&E takes it. Not going to lie, despite my bitterness, Snow Queen story interest me lot, but that is only if they go with the whole Elsa wants a boy route, if it becomes CS melodrama that would bore me. But if the focus is on Henry that would interest me a lot. I LOVE SNOW QUEEN.

@KFC DarkOne season 1 and 2 Â would have never done that in a million years. That was writers going we will have Rumple suddenly be okay with this for “reason” because we are not allowed to bring Neal back from the dead for “reasons.”

Also another MRJ line its all about the tumblrs. Sometimes people have a way of telling the truth through noverbal and verbal slips. 😉
Happy field of dreams fantasy: I was thinking about MRJ in EF gear. Imagine MRJ long hair, EF clothing on a revival show like Highlander. MRJ would make a badarse immortal! We have him wearing various costumes in history couple with the style of “Britt?” mix with “Neal” in the present, add in Motorcycle….day dreaming has commence. LOL 😀

I think the pain For Emma and Hook was the lost of their true loves which both of them lost. There was pain with Neal and Emma, but they were happy and they loved each other. As for Hook and Milha they clearly were very happy and content living their lifes as pirates. The only pain that I can see with Milha and Hook was Milha died. (Which liken him a lot with Regina: because they both understood the quest for revenge, the lost of love, their good heart darken by hate, still surprise they never went there with them they were truly kindred in that respect.)
@KFC loved everything you said, Henry was the heart of the show now he just some kid who randomly comes in from time to time to make another character look good or bad or whatever.
Sad thing is Henry would be judge how interacts with Hook or Regina. If he is sweet and buddy buddy with either one of them, some of their fans would more thank likely loved, enjoy him. If he is aloof, angsty, or emotional with them some of their fans would more than likely hate or be annoyed with him.
I love that alternate scene, Emma and Neal tag teaming up in the Enchanted Forest would have been fun. Can you imagine a adult Bae meeting past father or Hook!?! Emma and Neal both acting like Marty McFly seeing their parents in the past.
Oh my goodness they could have even reenacted the pregnancy Emma bit.

I think one common theme for must of us who are FireDucklings was the hope they inspired in us.
Yeah sucky things happen in our lives and we have all done sucky things but there was a chance that things will get better, there is the remarkable hope that in the end we will have happy life with family and friends. That we will get a day off….
When you set up two characters who were abandoned lost and alone who felt like no one loved them, wanted them, and cared for them. You just want them to find a family and home. I was rooting for the SwanfireFamily so bad, rather it be romantic or not. I wanted Henry, Emma, and Nealfire to chance to have a home and family. I’m sadden that 1 out of 3 did not get that because of reasons.
@KFC hmmm you got me thinking there girl, could MRJ be telling us what really happen behind the scene with his Brando Waterfront incorporation. A guy force to lose because of reasons that was above his head. Now this can be just Neal, Neal was force to not get his happy ending because of Fate and reasons. Or was there more stuff going on behind the scenes.
I can honestly tell you this whether they Kept Emma single or went SF I doubt the show would end if either one of those happen (no more than it would with CS) because of ratings because there is always something else to focus on in the show (hopefully).
I’m tending to think the majority of the events of season 3 is more ABC then A&E because its more of marketable calculations, the writing has been dumb and cliched down a bit with highly repetitive story tropes and overused lines that we all heard before. I think Season 4 will be even more of ABCDisney and less of A &E as well. They have Disney’s beloved Elsa so you better believe that Mickey Mouse will be in that writing room hovering over them like a boss going yes, no, no, no, do it this way, write this, take out that, no, no, maybe, on second thought no, how about this, NO, better yet let me do it . LOL
