@Text will since Neal is suppose to be a “plot device” might as go all out with it. Â Why not CS Â help August set up the whole Neal leaving Emma song and dances so that he can eventually die so he can lead to CS epic epic so epic it that it invented the word epic love story.
@KFC 30 percent of what you said more than likely will happen  in some form or fashion because they have to make CS look like fate and less like fan pandering.
@Slurp and @RG the curse wouldn’t work with Henry nor Neal. Which is why never got another swanfire kiss because it would be true love and they just can’t have that can they. So we get the swan necklace and Belle saying its form of true love. At least for the time being until they somehow erase it or have Hook find her last swan necklace and give it back to her as the new Killianeal (pronounce killingNeal– see its fate). Perhaps Killianeal will melt it down and form into a wedding ring and marry her with it. And we see Neal and Graham’s ghost smiling from beyond.

I bet CS is the one who will send August the message about Bae, and will tell August to tell Bae to leave Emma. So she can birth Henry, break the curse, meet hook, create CS EPIC MAGIC TRUE LOVE
“putting up with verbal abuse is real love” This is one of the problems that I have no one should put up, tolerate, or accept abuse rather it be verbal, physical, or sexual. No one should have to tolerate or have to accept unwanted advances. If person (because I’m not putting gender on this) does not accept the affections of another, that is within their right, you are not obligated to like or love anyone just because they like or love you. That doesn’t make them Witch or Astard or Butthole because they refuse a person romantic advances.

If CS was their epic plan since the beginning of time there was no need to destroy sweet Baelfire’s happiness and his chance to have a family. IF CS was plan from the beginning why Milha? Why torture this character twice with the same person, his mother and his lover.There was no need to have this love triangle. They could have Neal and Emma go through the talk and the discussions, and realize really we both grow up, we love each other, but we are better off as Friends, and we will be their for Henry together. Neal could have been happy with Tamara (who was not evil) and Emma can have this epic cliche campy pirate princess love story trope thing going on.
SF may be little miff but Neal being happy and alive as a father to Henry, son to Rumple, Friend to Emma, and co parents with Emma and Regina. Neal was willing to take Henry to New York with him, so they could have the long distance relationship where Neal and Henry can have visits back and forth. That’s real life. Henry would love to get away for bit to visit the real world. Or Neal could moved to the town with Tamara and they all make it work as family and friends. Because you know that’s what mature families who cared about their children do. They learn to grow up and get along for the best interest of the child.
ALL of what is taking place thus far screams that this is just a rush order of check list of items that they feel the fandom subgroups want to see in this show.
I came into to this show midseason of season 1 in Desperate Souls. Rumple, Emma, Henry, Regina, and Baelfire dynamic perked my interest. I followed the Baelfire story through-out happy to see him as Neal and Henry’s father and looking forward to seeing that lost boy find his home, family, and happy ending just like the rest.
And you know what happen, he died and none will ever remember he ever existed not even the ones who loved him.. the end.
