Nice ladies very nice. I concur It seems Neal has bigger storyline then we thought. I still have cautionary hope. But this is there OC and I expect them to treat Nealfire with a great deal of respect and value. I also think it would be odd to kill Neal off without closure, no real closure with his dad, Emma, Henry, or even Hook by the matter. I also doubt they will give Neal so much inspiration, hope, and determination just to kill him. I would expect Neal to speak in more self reflection terms and be content with leaving Emma and Henry in the perfect lie. The fact that he still has hope lets me know the writers are given him hope and inspiration for a reason. As for Neal going dark, I doubt they turn him dark to kill him off. If you are going to take a good character and turn him dark or evil, you would set that massive story arch or story line for S4. Not segue it into the Wicked vs Evil story arch. That’s too much for the general audience and to close to what happen in S2 second half. I think if MRJ goes dark he would be another vessel for something bigger and badder and it would be closer to a possession, where his body is used as a vessel to introduce the ultimate master mind behind it all. Like Chernabog who might be tied into Blue someway (which could be either good or bad way?) I’ve seen that trope before.

I find it interesting that A &E said its the fairytale of Emma and Henry, because I would sworn it was the fairytale of Emma, Henry, and Neal since all three of them are their OCs. But I agree RG. shipping aside Neal is important not only to Henry but to Emma. Because if Neal was the one to subcome the spoiler of doom, its only going to affirm what she thought that she never gets a day off. I also doubt they will have Belle reassure Neal that he would see them again just to rip him away from that. Why give this character a quest, determination, and hope just to killed him off in 4 to 5 episodes. Just remember that its always darkest before the dawn.

I love when Emma referred to Rumple as her dad.
And when Neal told Emma this little guy saved us.
Now that’s foreshadowing!
Here is another small parallel I thought of Emma had her baby blankets as keepsake from her past. Rumple had Bae’s shawl as keepsake of his son’s past. A baby blanket and shawl. The little things.

Yes I think to our surprise we will see both Emma and Neal undergoing a parallel journey.

My favorite Swanfire moment: Neal already planning how to get back to his family and home. Belle reinforcing to Neal he will see them both again. Because Belle see the heart and core of person and she sees the love that Neal has for his family.
My favorite moment of the episode: Neal, Belle, and Robin have a little chat, a tale of two thieves and a Lady, aka three Musketeers.
It seems the media, promos, and interviews all paint a mirage based on interpretations and biases.
Whereas the show itself simply tells a story that is in contrast to the mirage that is being painted.
I still don’t see why I should feel I am rooting for the wrong couple. I see a father and love who is not willing to give up hope of being reunited with his family. There is nothing that Hook did that made me feel like they should be together. It only affirmed what I thought while Hook may ‘love’ Emma and Emma may care for him they are still not compatible for a life time living together. Hook craves the sea life full of adventure and danger. Emma just want to come home after a long day at work and play video games with her son.
I can honestly see, Emma, Neal, and Henry doing just that. Going out playing lazer tag together, Emma cooking eggs while Neal fries the bacon and Henry makes the toast, them ordering pizza or Chinese while playing video games together, listening to old records and dancing to Henry’s embarrassment, making and losing bets on who has to wash the dishes for the week, helping Henry with school projects, watching Disney movies and pointing out their relatives. Just living life and loving each other. I can see that being their happy ending.

Some Swanfire Clips that I find very important that some often forget especially the Mulan and Neal one, as well as the fact his love generated magic and it was purple the color of true love. tehehehehe
