is not a heart needed for the curse. I had a weird idea of the person is still alive after WW use their heart for the curse-the tin man- but still alive. Is Rumple her tin-man or flying monkey, or cowardly lion
It was interesting that A &E said in many ways Hook is like a friend to Emma, just found that odd because it was really necessary to add that in. They could have left it with yes Emma would have a friend besides her mom, there’s her dad (LOL), but like Snow said she touch the lives of several people since she came to Storybrooke. I believe she has several friendships blossom from that. That was one way the could answer it but they zoned on Hook as a friend. To show some importance, so that if he is the one to die, his death would have some emotional impact on Emma. I seriously leaning towards the the lack of Neal is decoy. Because if Neal death is story driven, I make sure he (my OC) would be going out with a heroic bang and the whole second half would be more about him. And his goodbye would be even more splashy, deep, and heartfelt with Emma and Henry. Don’t use words like this isn’t over, my second chance, a chance at happiness if you never intended on using it. That’s if its story driven and not a person quitting or being let go?? Just my two cents on this.
Can someone tell me how Neal is not important to the story yet Hook is, beyond Emma & Love triangle, , where does his importance lies????? I’ve seen this argument before I am just like huh, what makes Hook more important to the story and family lines, heritages that the others bring to the table. Hook went from foil for rumple to potential Love interest for Emma. Those are his story arches revenge and love triangle. Then there is Neal a repertoire of countless stories and possibilities.
In better news, I think Neal knows of Oz somehow either he has been there or he knows Dorothy? He did mention the ruby slippers… which might be back at Dorothy’s farm?

And let’s not forget Regina, who raised Henry. Despite her, shall we say, rocky history with Snow and Charming, I give her full credit for putting aside those differences to help Emma and Neal save Henry. I believe Regina would approve of Emma and Neal getting back together, because she knows that as Henry’s birth parents, both of them have Henry’s best interests at heart. By contrast, I think Regina would seriously frown at the idea of Hook trying to assert himself into Emma’s, and therefore Henry’s, lives. Regina would never be able to forget how Hook handed her over to the likes of Tamara and Greg to be tortured and then left the town of SB for dead, only to turn around after it would’ve been too late had it not been Regina and Emma saving everyone. That is why I no longer like the idea of Regina and Hook (as much as I used to) because he harmed Regina. I LOVE that Regina called Hook out on this fact in 3×11; she hasn’t forgotten and I hope Regina reminds Emma of this fact when she gets her memories back.

Awwww Beautiful SwanfireFamily edits. I love the swanfire family love. I love how Emma, Neal, and Henry are tied together in the promo with real world clothing, why the others get their FTL clothing.
If I had to visually pair Hook with anyone in the promo photos it would be Evil Queen Regina.

Cool hypothesis about the Birthday’s of Emma and Neal.
Based on Neal’s wanted sign (which how true is that since he is not from our world but we will go with it) His birthday is March 23, 1977 making hims an Aries. Emma birthday is October 22, 1983 based on the newspaper Regina was reading the morning after the curse is October 23, 1983 making Emma a Libra.So based on this new birthday info about Neal and Emma being Aries and Libra signs; Here is something to wet your palette. Which harkens to my ying and yang, two wolves, heart song, sun and moon, two halves a whole, etc etc vibe I got from Swanfire.

There is actual a reason for this, its a nod to his lost boy and orphan-darling days as well as his causal. Trust me his shoe laces being loose is not by accident, it was done on purpose. If you look at the pic knee down you would think casual lost boy Oliver twist Newsies vibe and once you work your way out up, you realize this is a man but still has that lost boy inside of him (Bae), just like Emma has that savvy streetwise look but you can still see remnants of the lost girl.
LOL not sure if I’m making any sense right now.
