See that’s the problem, everyone is to darn happy go lucky for it to be Neal. If Neal died, I expected the family to be devastated unless they do some ridiculous like time jump another year, which would be senseless. And one heartfelt scene is not enough to say see they cried moving on, Henry meet your new daddy. Even if I wasn’t a Neal fan or Csers I would find that to be tad bit cold and indifferent. Even Regina took a few episodes to mourn her mother and she still have moments where she miss her father or Daniel. To act like Neal never existed would be a slap in the face to the story and to the fandom. But I will not give much credit to the spoilers either, remember when we all thought Emm and Hook were holding hands on a date, and it turn out to be Emma heading to a date then the group running off to help Blue. I honesty think Neal might be captured or in a coma. Something is going on with him, but I don’t think he is dead. But my gut says he the decoy. Besides if Neal is going to die I think A&E would write that one, no way would I let someone else pull the plug on my OC. Sorry for the ramblings I’m stuck in the car and trying to type fast. LOL

Is it me or does anyone get the nagging feeling we are being trolled aka played by A&E. Yes let them think its Neal, lets even have a fake funeral. Yes fandom think its Neal. Then Boom. Neal is not dead. What if the “Neal death” is a trap or a set up. For some odd reason I feel like we are being punk and A & E and the whole cast are laughing it up. I also doubt Neal no Swanfire Necklace on Emma that would be dead give away there is trouble on the front.

Another tie in for the costume department is in the group beach promo photo, we have the swanfire trio all wearing normal clothing because like we all said they are the OC in this visual fan-fiction.

What if that’s why no one would keep Emma, weird accidents kept happening around her that freaked out foster families???? Of course after a while a foster child stops trying and become harden and rebellious. I bet her last years in the foster system was spent in a teen girl’s group home. Where she learn the tricks of the trade.

I love that crystal ball scene, it showed how much Neal loved her. His love for her generated magic.

crack theory what if Chris character is son or grandson of Dorothy. Neal landed on Dorothy’s farm. He was found by Chris, taken in by the family. And they taught him the ways of the world. The family loses the farm, Dorothy ends up at nursing home. Chris and Neal are force to try to make it out there on there own. Something happens and they are separated. It seems to be a running theme that Neal is always separated from potential family units. This could be another example of one. Later in life Emma meets Chris who helps her get situated after prison and once again with the false memories. This would be another tie into how Neal and Emma’s love constantly intersect. I love the idea that would be new August someone to bring them together instead of breaking them apart.
Even if Chris is not related to Neal. I love the idea of Dorothy being the one to take in Neal when he first came to our world because she would understand him and help him. She will tell him about Oz and WW, giving him inside info to help in present sense. But of course Neal is separated from her from a series of unfortunate events that often happens when he close to having a home or family.

Someone mention that Hansel and Gretel gave them Swanfire vibes without the romance of course because they were two lost thieving kids taking care of each other, who really just wanted a home and family.
