ParticipantNow I have mental fan-fiction of young Neal learning how to box or staying in the basement of a boxing gym when he came back to our world at 8:15 of course.

ParticipantIts funny they used that dialogue again, Rumple girl. The Savior and the Reason, subtle clues, subtle clues.
So basically we have the Savior, the Reason, and the Believer! I often wonder if those three are united as a strong front, what type of magic would they produce.
But lets up it a notch, the Savior (Emma), The Reason (Neal), the Believer (Henry), the Caster (Regina), and the Creator (Rumple) what kind of magic would that produce if they all stand together as united front?
I like the sound of that we need a gif right away, with this!!!

ParticipantI like the put the blame on the two parties involved, Peter Pan and Rumple, but pretty much the ultimate blame lies on the villain of this arch, Peter Pan aka Malcolm. There is no need to try to shift blames on the various victims of Peter Pan selfishness. The story is clear, Pan wanted youth, he gave up his son, Rumple for it, he was going to lose his youth so he wanted the heart of his great grandson to sustain it, he lost that token so he was going to recurse the town to still sustained his youth. Rumple killed his father to stop him from killing Bae and Belle, and recursing the lives of everyone else. He made ultimate sacrifice for those he love. I don’t think Rumple “died” blaming his son, Belle, Henry, or anyone else for the matter. Blame was not in his heart, love was in his heart. So to get back to your question, no the blame does not lie on the victims, the blame lies on the offenders.

Participant101 % agree with this notion! I was re-reading a post I wrote over a year ago at the debut of “Tallahassee” concerning August, Neal and Emma. Even I’m amazed that I recognized SF as being True Love straight off the the bat. I’d actually started out wishing Captain Swan to happen! It’s been over a year, and I’m amazed that even then, I recognized the writers as wanting to denigrate August’s character in order to preserve the integrity of Neal as Emma’s true love! Looking back, I think that I only wanted Hook with Emma in the short-term, because of the “challenge” that they represent to one another, but even then, I realized how truly Emma loved Neal. What solidified it for me was seeing “Manhattan” and then “Second Star to the Right.” To me, it just seems obvious that while Emma and Hook may have a fling, Emma and Neal are each others’ true loves! They’re two lost children who found each other in an otherwise cruel world, dreamed of a home together but were torn asunder by outside forces. Neverthless, their love remains. The rest of their story is about how two people who love each other, but were separated, can nevertheless learn to work that out. Emma and Neal’s reconciliation is a story of hope, because it flies in the face of today’s western world in which a lot of couples never learn to work out their issues, forgive, or reconcile. Emma and Neal giving up because of the curse or Emma’s destiny as the savior would seem empty, unhappy, and desolate in my opinion. The point of their story is that real-life couples can overcome adversity to learn to forgive and reunite, that love does overcome hurt, and that second chances are possible in an age when people are in desperate need of another go at life. That is why Emma and Neal’s story represents hope, because Emma and Neal are most like us; they’ve both grown up in our world where most people don’t get another chance, don’t get to reunite with their first loves, and don’t get to atone for their mistakes. Yet, if Emma and Neal can make it work, then it gives everyday normal people hope that they can make their relationships work, even when there is a history of pain, misunderstanding and disappointment. Real life isn’t always a fairytale like Snow and Charming, who never seem to lose faith in one another except when they’re cursed. So often, real-life couples mess up, make mistakes, say things they don’t mean, and hurt each other when they don’t want to. Emma and Neal’s relationship, though influenced by supernatural events, is still seemingly normal compared to heroic tales, and so I can’t help but root for their everyday fairytale to come true!
That is how I see as well. Neal,Emma, and Henry are modern everyday fairytale a new story to be told. They bring the viewers hope and faith in love and forgiveness. They remind us that we to can get second chance in life. I agree that if Swanfire does not work out I would be very disappointed with the series so much buildup and potential for a really good story to only have it fizzle it out just amazes me. And what would the message be that there is no hope or second chances unless you are a “pretty” villain. Because we all know Rumple, Regina, and Hook will get a second chance. And sadly it seems so will Snowing, Emma, and Henry. So it only sadden me if Neal, a good character, will not be offer that same opportunity at a second chance and to see his hope shatter into a million different pieces. Because it would mean he lost his mother and his love to the same person all over, that family unit torn apart yet again.
What will disappoints me the most is in all honesty there was no need to have Neal still longing and wish to fight for his second chance at happy ending with his family. Neal and Emma could have made peace with each other and moved on in S2. Also that dialogue is very questionable as well, “You want second a chance with that man”, “I see the way you look at her”, “One thing I know about you, you always find what you are looking for”, “You still carry a torch for Emma”, “Not a day goes by that I don’t regret leaving you”, “I’m sorry Emma, for everything”, “I love you, I need you,” “He always Neal to me, and Neal taught me that,” “I never stop fighting for you,” etc etc etc. All these points to a direction of two people who wants to be together but don’t know how to get past the hurt.
Emma said something about Neal in his cave, she said he lost hope. I always wanted to know what gave him hope and the belief that he can leave Neverland. Was it Tink telling him that some day he will find his happy ending in the most unexpected places. (And why didn’t we get that flash back with the others!) I really want to know what gave Neal hope. One thing is for certain that Neal seem to have hope that he will see his family again, and we all know all happy endings begin with hope.
sidenote: I do wonder if Hook will realize that love between Emma, Neal, and Henry is true. And that will caused him to honestly back off this time because he doesn’t want to be apart of breaking Bae’s heart once again or hearing the words echoing in his ears, “you tore apart my family.” Or will history repeat itself and Henry will echo his father’s word to Hook. Because Henry wants and believes that his parents will be back together. Talk about an emotional conflicting scene.

ParticipantI also would love for a flash back where Bae saves a baby swan aka ugly duckling and nurse it back to health.

ParticipantEmma last look was Darn,I was right, I don’t get a day off, fate is dividing us yet again.
Neal: “This isn’t over, I’ll see you both again.”
Emma hugs Neal, is its true, will I be able to see him again, to see my family again? Does he believe that, Do I believe that, you have to let him go Emma, you got to get Henry to safety."I will be kind but I will speak my mind."
