What I like about SwanFire is that Neal is respectful to all women, not just Emma because he wants to get in her pants, unlike Hook.
What I like about Neal for the most part is respectful to all people.

The sad things is if Pan is successful with his curse, Emma will lose Neal for yet a third time. How can she overcome that fear when it keeps being reinforced. So its not the fear that Neal may leave her again, its the fear she may lose him again. That every time they get close he will be ripped away and her heart will bleed and long for him.
Its like how do we overcome our self doubts, fears, distortions when they keep being reinforced how do we go beyond the trauma, go beyond the hurt, go beyond the pain. By what Charming and Snow said, we enjoy the good moments and we enjoy the love.
Snowing is not about unicorn and rainbow kisses they are about hope, faith, and love.And this is what I love about Swanfire, the complexities of simply being human. I look forward to seeing Neal and Emma overcoming their obstacles of hurt, doubts, and fears with their hope, faith, and love.

Sometimes I feel we are the little dogs who are wanting the SF crumbs that fall from the table. With the heavy CS promotion this season, you wonder if will even get a little crumb in of Swanfire in this Winter Finale. Lets hope our faith and dedication pays off in the end.

Parallels are comparisons, and like any comparison only as good as the thought process behind it. You can make analogies between, well, anything but that two things are alike in some qualities doesn’t mean they’re the same in every quality.
KFC that was perfect, parallels is highly subjective to the person implying and seeing them. Don’t get me wrong, I think some parallels are actually done by the writers on purpose. But the majority of parallels we see are of our own interpretation.
I was just discussing with a CSers on facebook, how SFers and CSers both view their ship the say, both sides see a story that has been forming from the beginning ( except we go back to Season 1 pilot) both sides feel they would be jaded to have such buildup for her only to choose the other. I also said that we all want Neal, Hook, Regina or whoever to be with Emma. But in the end the writers may have Emma’s true love remaining with Henry only. Emma may not choose either one. Its like Angel, Spike and Buffy, both loved her, she loved them both, but neither of them got to stay with her.
It would be frustrating to all parties, but it may be how A &E choose to settle this issue. Let the fans interpret who to the end of days.
PS: I still say that Henry and Neal are the loves of her life, and will always will be. Henry and Neal are her boys, her babies, her darlings!

Hook implying to Neal you’re sure she let’ll you back in. Hook is reminding Neal of his travesty (while ignoring the stuff he did to Emma and never apologizing for, because that is not important he is handsome and he always win. I get the girl, I got your mother from Rumple and I’ll Emma from you, remember I have had many of men’s wives) against Emma and playing on his guilt. So Neal decided to take a chance and see if Emma is willing to let him back which is why he said can we talk and ended it with if you don’t show, I’ll stop bugging you. So he is going to think Emma doesn’t want him anymore and prefers Hook. If Neal backs off Emma is going to think Neal is not really interesting and Hook’s affection is going to start to look pretty good. So you have two people who love each other but feels the other might be moving on. The fact that Hook has said that to Neal makes me think the writers are using reverse psychology. You think she’ll let you back in more than likely means she would let him back in eventually. And when I win you, it would be without trickery.
Hook feels Swanfire doesn’t have chance, he is going to win no matter what just because the simple fact he is Hook and he has had many mens wives. So if Hook, “Wins Emma” in the second half of season 3 the forecast for Swanfire is looking pretty good. If Neal leans back from Emma, not move on just leans back and resigns that just being apart of her and Henry’s life would mean the world to him, forecast for Swanfire is looking pretty good. Don’t get me wrong as much as Emma loves Neal and how much it scares, she is toying with the idea of Hook in the back of her mind. The grass always look greener is what they say.
Also I wonder about Hook, he has strong feelings for her, but is he in love with her or is he in love with the chase. Spock in Amok Time said something that is very powerful and might refer to Hook. “After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true.”
Apart me think this might happen to Hook and Emma and pretty much most of CS fandom. It was the chase that was fun, not exactly the relationship. They may come to realize they were never suppose to be, because that chemistry, that fire, that passion may die down once they are actually Couple. And it would be an old fad and passing glance.

Yeah we are going to get loads of CS second half of S3 my hope its to show why they won’t work out and why its the opposite of true love.

Man I have been reading everyone post and I truly blown away by your observations and insightfulness.
I was thinking about Swanfire and Captain Swan.
Captain Swan is explosive, spicy, hot, lustful (I can admit that begrudgingly) they are like fireworks, loud and pretty, but all fireworks fizzle and eventually die out leaving only a memory of something pretty.
Swanfire are like the stars, beautiful magical and endearing, they may be hidden in the day light but when you are in your darkest point they shine the brightest. After the fireworks have fade the stars remain steady. They provide direction, guidance, and hope. Its no wonder when Emma saw the stars on the cave’s ceiling; she thought of home. When you are lost, the stars can guide you home.
