@TheWatcher it was just an throwback to BATB as way to soften the wound of Rumbelle being cheated out of true love kiss.
@Nevermore and @RumplesGirl what gets me this is the same person who told Neal that the swan keychain survived realms because it was born out of true love. Yet she is shocked that Emma keeps a dreamcatcher that came from Neal. -_-Lord heaven come Sunday

@TheWatcher yes I love that Penguins is slowly becoming the dark creepy character. I dont know about you but I see a little Danny Devito in him. It seems to me Gotham is more like the 90s Michael Keaton Batman. One of Penguins female henchman reminds me of Gotham Penguin’s mother. @PriceofMagic Jerome will live on. And refuse to believe he is dead.
Also notice the Fish mention last episode that maybe she is not dead. If Fish can come back so can Jerome. Of course Jerome was stab in the juglar and ended in the morgue. While Fish merely fell of a building into dark open water body never recovered. sooo I say shut up logic Jerome is not dead he will come back with splash. Jerome will get the last laugh. Perhaps Doctor Dollmaker (?) can fix him up.
Okay so the last two episode post Jerome.
I must say I did like Penguin being challenge in that episode and his desperation to do anything for his mother to be safe.
Also the introduction of the nymphet Silvercloud blonde and dress in white playing in fountain of water created to allure dear old master Bruce. Can we say creepy much. (Of course I have some critical things I have regarding Silvercloud and cat who are they really suppose to be enticing young boys or grown men? that is for another debate or issue)
Anyway I get it Silvercloud is a trap and after watching the episode where we get a female firefly (I like watching her develop into a villain. She went from fragile, humble, squeaky little mouse to a villain who killed a cop. She tasted power and she liked it. I digress) Back to Silvercloud; Does Bruce really need a love triangle the kid is recovering from watching his parents being murder so a love triangle I am kind of meh on. Of course she is basically a Delilah or Salome (biblical references) for Bruce who Galavan wants dead because of an old family fued that involved seduction and a limb being dismember.
And seriously what is up with all the missing limbs, organs, and appendages on Gotham.
Poor Butch. I am mad at Penguin for that. Fish needs to come back and save her baby who shot her because it was complicated. Butch loves and misses Fish.
I have to say I am getting bored with the Galavans and their sleepy hollow backstory was utterly cheesy. I am not sure if Galavan can hold my interest all season watching him try to rise to power and kill Bruce Wayne (dun dun dun). Because you know that is not going to happen. He grows up to be Batman so any attempts on his life will end in failure. I am actually rooting for the Penguin to take him out.
Also Theo’s sister, I get it she is a hot psycho killer who is just to cool for school and easily bored. Theo once said she may not look it but she is fragile. Well hello Gotham let me see some of that fragility in her. Because hey girl who is always bored you are boring me.
Cat I enjoyed the little nuggets we got with her so her mother was a working girl? We also learn Cat is basically a stray cat that wants a family like. Also Fish loved Cat enough that word spread and Cat now has street cred. I mean I know Fish like Cat but were they together long enough that Cat can vouch for Fish in Fish absence. Who cares I like the connection but I wanted Cat to be more closely trained by Fish. Miss opportunity of season 1.
Then there was that double date. That was cute and light hearted. But I still say there is something secretly dark about Ms. Kringle.
Overall I like Strike Force episode. Strike force is a nice team. We need a squad to combat the villains. Because too much dark is not good. There must be balance, ying and yang. However I can help but think they all be dead by the end of the season. New Chief is good, he wants to make a difference. He may be dead to. Along with Harvey who somehow manage to knock up Rollins from Special Victims Unit (Law and Order reference).
As for Scarification I am more meh about it. Don’t hate it don’t love it. But that was mostly due to Galavans boring the crap out of me this episode. There is something about a long drawn out plan that you know is not going to work because Bruce wont be dying. Strongest point was FireFly being born and Penguin/Butch/Cat interactions
If I had my way Galavan would be more interested in destroying Gotham but rebuilding it into something better. You know the crazies that think the ends justify the means. bring order out of chaos. Also instead of trying to kill Bruce perhaps take him under his wings to teach him because he sees something special in Bruce. Perhaps Theo also lost his parents to violence which could further foster connection between he and Bruce. This leads to Bruce dealing with some internal conflict of where is the line drawn. But I guess that is Raul’s job?
Okay I think I ramble enough. I need coffee and medicine and rest and then I will come back and read this thing and be like what am I even talking about who wrote this nonsense. !?!

Hahah! Yeah I was very amused by that scene and I hope they don’t come back. Was anyone else reminded of Jack Harkness in this episode? Obviously Ashildr is a very different character, but the whole not being able to die thing had me thinking of our dear Face of Boe. Also, my heart still aches for Danny Pink. When the Doctor gave Ashildr a second chip and then explained to Clara why… * tear *
I’m glad I am not alone in my morning for Danny! I loved Danny Pink, he was fun, different, and real. Love is a Promise.
And yes I though of Jack as Ashildr is facing the same fate.
I think the thing is she told the doctor that she was strange and different but her village people loved and accepted her quirky oddball nature. So the painful thing for her was to watch the village people who loved and accepted her die anyway. Because with immortality there is a price of losing the ones you love and sense of loneliness.
If Clara is to leave I am hoping for her to have Danny!

Amy had Rory
Clara has nothing but the Doctor now and her students, she had Danny. I want Clara with Danny.
Another thing bugging me is in Listen we meet someone who is a descendant of Danny and possibly Clara’s. Was that future changed or is it still a possibility.
I think of Amy the girl who waited who gave young Amy the days, her days.
Could the doctor give Clara and Danny the days.
