ParticipantI am stuck in a rut! I for one love the idea of Jerome being Joker. LOVED IT LOVED IT. I dont expect Gotham to be the comics, we have the comics for the comics and we have the show for the show. So therefore having them developing a kniffy origin story with the Joker I don’t mind. I saw something of that nature with 90s movie Batman with Michael K and Jack N. Even the 90s cartoon Batman revealed a little bit about the Joker as a hit man in Mask of the Phantom who was betrayed.
I always thought Theo will betrayed Jerome that he will either cut his face or he gets the acid topical face mask. However I did not expect Jerome to be killed off or even harm that soon. The things is they could have at least teased Jerome for some time all of season 2.
And then there is this thought. I can agree with POM the Jerome was everything Joker was and to have someone later to say guess what I am inspired by Jerome maniacal personality is not the Joker to me. The person will be simple a Jokerz (the gang that followed in Joker footsteps in Batman Beyond).
Then there is this, I love the shock factor of being wrong when I thought I was so right! I loved it so even with the disappointment. I really enjoyed that episode a lot and enjoyed the shock factor. ( I do love a good shock factor!)
But now I feel like where do you go from here. I fear that the momentum will be greatly slowed down and I feel like they hit off in a great sprint and now will be lulled down to a stroll. I hope I am wrong and the story keeps me on edge of my seat.
Crazy Barbara is fun!
Leslie helps Balance the Crazy. She is darling compassionate character. And I love her interaction with Gordon.
Gordon: Being all made and on a mission is rather nice.
Harvey: 🙁
Bruce and Jerome: Enough said
Cat is simply a cat she sleeks in, steals stuff, nuzzle with Bruce, and then sneaks out. I don’t expect a big storyline with her no more then her becoming Catwoman. (I still say Fish training Cat would be nice. Of course maybe Theo’s sister may take a liking to her)
@RumplesGirl be prepared I think Bruce, and Cat, and some other girl from his school maybe involved in a love triangle. -_- Like No.I really want Jerome back that magic show with Barbara hit me right in the childhood!
So now what are they going to do the rest of the season and will we care or lose interest…..
Please bring Jerome back….

ParticipantIt’s always about hook and his needs so I say that is probably in complete character for him to remain egocentric. Why would he show concern for Belle or inquire how she is holding up. That is of no consequence to him.
I probably used consequence wrong in that statement. Lol

ParticipantI actually enjoy Clara she and Amy pond are favorite among my family. So I would be sad to see her go. (But realize it is time, ready to learn a new companion and how they fit into the doctor’s life) I never got the impression that it was the Clara show for me the doctor always been the star of the show and always will be. I see Clara no different from the other companions that travel with the doctor. So maybe its just a perception thing.
One thing for certain Clara is not fine. I can sense it in her eyes she sad, lonely, and she miss Danny. Right now she is using traveling with the doctor like we buried ourselves in work, hobby, internet to avoid dealing with the pain in grief in other words she is masking her grief with I am fine lets go on adventure.
As for the crew I like the crew but who stands out most is the deaf character and her translator. As person who took American Sign Language in college I appreciate this little nugget of diversity.
This episode reminds me of water of Mars.
Overall I found this episode entertaining none the less. It peaked my curiosity and boy does my curiosity enjoys being peaked. I love a good mystery.
