There was no need for Emma to be seen at all for this episode. I thought she would have a far more Epic and intricate ending but nope. It was just tired.

Yeah, i am so glad that it is done. They were never confirmed true love’s and it is done. It is done and the swanfire necklace/key chain is still there passing happily between curses and confirming true love over and over again.

Cs is over, its done, I am so happy its finally over. I say let them be happy in SB as long as we don’t have to see that tired story again.

I may have read too much into this, but the whole bit with Henry screwing up, and it resulting in his child being forcibly removed from their mother, reminded me of Neal’s mistakes and Emma having to give up baby Henry. In this ep, when Henry was all, “I’m just a guy who screwed up, and I’m tryna fix it,” it just made me feel some sorta way…kinda like I wanted to burst into tears because he was reminding me of his dad.
Phee I thought the same thing. It seems Henry and Jacida present day has swanfire vibe to them while Henry and Cindy 2.0 have more of Snowing vibe.
Also Henry’s apartment is so Nealish. I love it. I wonder if we are going to ever see a flypaper for nightmares.

Yes Naveen was adorbs he really grew as character just as much as Tiana.

Sophia reminds me of how Lee was when she had that poison blood in her.
I doom Sophie and Jim and I can not ship them. Because at this point I despise any relationship with Jim that is not the mother to be of B. Gordon. I’m over it. I and I am over him and his romantic life. Sophia and Jim would be amazing and dark twisted ship if not for the whole Lee as his grand love at this time.
Honestly they doing the whole Bruce Wayne with Jim many relationships with him.
If I had to say Bruce have t(wo, three if we count the Dark Knight triology). Catwoman, Talia, and (Rachel).
I think Jim’s big three is Barbara, Lee, and B.Gordon’s mother.
Going to laugh but I have this crack ship of Sophia with that Zsasz, oh its completely twisted. I don’t even want them to be lovers. I just think Zsasz working for Sophia and having some deep extreme loyalty to her to be dark fun. Wait I don’t think that is shipping but more of broship wait that doesn’t work its not broship? Its something but not sure what to call it. Foeship?
Oh and Lee needs to be with Alfred, just let that happen and put an end to Lee and Jim.

This show has been dwindling in viewership and numbers since season 3, so I fully expect season 7 to be its last. Of course I think that every year however with the loss of some key players in the show. Its hard to believe they will go past season 7. However abc has surprised me before so who knows. Anyway as @wickedregal said I am going to drink my drink and enjoy the ride of the season got be back into ouat as viewer.

Yeah they should have just let that story die out because anything they are doing to appease will probably not work out or translate.
@hjbau I do wonder if Alice is Emma/Hook child or Rumbelle’s child that is currently my theory.However, it would be cool if she was no one’s kid.

Well if she is LGBT at least give her a Lottie or a Lottie type to be her love interest. I lowkey think Lottie and Tiana would be adorbs. Lottiana

hmm so finally was able to watch after a busy weekend and Monday off work.
And I agree 7 out of 10 is my vote. It was cute and bit nostalgic. If I was a new comer I would watch it.

likes: Alice, new story, Tiana one liner about frog legs, SWANKEYCHAIN!!
mixed: acting and another memory curse
dislike: Hook’s and Rumple’s curse persona. They need to add a bit more depth to them otherwise they just seem like they are there for Nostalgic effect.
other thoughts:
I for once would like a fairytale characters who took on coming to our world of their own free will. They know why they are there and they want to be there. For them this is not a curse but a blessing. Some I don’t know twilight zone twists.
Also I think @hjbau made a good point that its hard to feel any true worries because we know the curse will be broken so where is the real conflict. If you asked me I think there should have been real traumatic loss in Storybrooke. Internal heartache and tragedy is something that doesn’t simply breaks with a kiss of true love. It takes time and more conflict to deal with internal stuff than anything external.

@Phee that was everything the swan keychain just touch my heart however if they show swings or dream catcher I will lose my mind.
Phee and @RumplesGirl I agree that they are solidifies that Henry and Cindy are not only true love but are married. Which makes me wonder does this means they do they not want what happen in season 2 and 3 to happen again. This is the story they are going with and stay out of our writing room fandom.

I think that short season shows are almost entirely filler and are usually really slow. It is like they have a beginning and an end and that’s it. Each episode needs to be about something even in a non episodic show and that is what doesn’t work about short season shows, in my opinion. They have entire episodes of pointlessness. Though, any show has that, it just seems more ridiculous to have really boring episodes when they only have to produce ten.
For me, Bloodlines, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Stranger Things, Terriers were amazing and well written for cohesive season. Because of the lack of fillers, each episode added to the plot with a nice helping of character development. It doesn’t get lost in the malarkey of fillers or ship base drivel. It simply here is a good story and we are going to tell it.
But to each their own. Just tell me a good story with some complex characters and I’m good, if you get it in 8, 10, 12, 18, 20, 22. But if its going to be 20-22 it better be darn good.
