The only shows that seem to work with 18 to 22 for me were procedural, comedies, and star trek (maybe not ST:DIS)
I mean I am still trying to fight through Arrow. Its so long! Or perhaps Netflix and those Cable Series spoiled me.

Always thought shows have way to many episodes and for what its not that necessary.
I love a simple 10 to 12 story arch. I mean stranger things had all of 8 I believe and it was wonderful. I think shows try to stretch it out for 22 episodes and it ends up boring or dragging on after awhile.

I think it is interesting that neither Regina or Tiana are doing very many scene with Tremaine. It really does make it seem like she isn’t really the villain at all. The reason the timeline is discussed is because, in my opinion, that is the easy part to get right. If the writers can’t get that right, such a simple thing to get right, then they can’t get emotional growth and consistency right and that is why their characterization is a mess and that is why the show is a mess. This is just a symptom of the real problem with the show and that is bad characterization because of a completely lack of ability to even be the tiniest bit organized or consistent.
I get where you are coming from. The timeline makes very little sense to me. However I given up on their timeline.
This show can be a hot mess however there is something exciting and intriguing about this season to me. Maybe its simply Tiana, maybe its morbid curiosity of seeing how this revamped will actually play out, either way I am interested to know what happen. Perhaps, I will regret only after 4 episode, maybe I will end up loving the whole season. Who knows? However at least my interest is peaked so that’s a starting point for me.

Lol you guys get on the time line portion and here I am getting all misty eyed because Mekia talked about how she wanted to be a Disney princess at Disney however had no roles to addition for.
That seriously hit home because I can relate to the struggles of being a POC who loves sci-fi-fantasy however seldom saw characters who resemble her.
Either way Mekia sounds absolutely adorable and I really want to see how she brings Tiana to life

But the thing is do they really want this to go beyond this season. If they asked me I always thought ouat should probably ending things with perhaps 3 season or 5 season story arch. However they are going for a 7th. I honestly don’t expect them to get an 8th or really want to go for an 8th. Going to enjoy the season 7 because its always fun with new takes, and of course there is my Disney Queen B Tiana but beyond that???. I’m not sure how far they will go beyond this season. I simply view this see as a one season mini series. I bet the cast and creators will probably be okay with simply that, at least the senior cast might be.

Hmm you know what I think of that tear that Rumple collected for some weird spell from Regina.
We never did see what became of that tear, but I think the writers just forgot about it.
I think Rumple used it for a spell. I recalled Rumple gave the tear to Emma or Snow to track down Regina by seeing what she sees.

However, Rapunzel magic tears and Cinderella tear’s both could work.

Welp get it while you can cause this is gonna flop.
I don’t care. I am going to enjoy it while I can. If it flop it flops. I am going to keep on watching it till I can’t lol. This isn’t my first rodeo. I can quit shows as easily as I can start them.

I think all of the interviews have just been so bad. They aren’t saying anything interesting about the show. It is like they are trying to excuse the change instead of actually say something interesting. The actors interviews have all been bad too. They are rebooting the show, they need to be a little less tight with the spoilers because they really need to say something interesting about the new show.
They sold me on new stories, Tiana, and adult Henry with his family.
I always like new chapters and new beginnings.
