I think the poster generally thought it was strip club not willfully trying to make something up to make hook look bad. Because he has done enough bad to not have to make anything up. At least that is my thoughts on the matter.
With that said, even though I was aware that it was bar, still laughed my butt off with the idea of a strip joint in this show. Alas this is not true blood or HBO or showtime, so no strip joints for OUAT.
By the way if it was a strip joint it would be called the Emperors New Clothes or Emperors for short.
Off to think of other seedy joints that are hidden in HBO version of OUAT…

How then do some CSers, who also like Rumbelle, still dislike Swanfire? It seems to me like if you were rooting for Belle and Rumple to make it work, you’d have to be willing for Belle to forgive Rumple for casting her out of the dark castle and then casting the dark curse. Yet when it came to Emma forgiving Neal for leaving her in prison, you’d have to wonder how it could be so unforgivable, even when Neal’s intentions weren’t to harm her but to help her find her parents. #ThingsI’llNeverUnderstand
Because Neal isn’t a fantastical, magical, fairy tale being, he’s just a guy. He’s just a real, regular guy who made mistakes, so he doesn’t deserve empathy. Or something. Apparently. PS. I’m glad MRJ already has yet another project in the works, can’t wait to see what it is.
Yep normal guys are not worthy of empathy or redemption, he needs to burn down a village or two, shoot a couple of innocents, throw out a couple of curses here and there, double cross the goodies but changes mind, be a real nasty jackbutt then cry about how tragic his life is and do a couple of good deeds here and there for only people who matter to Him ( don’t give a crap about the rest). Then he would be just a misunderstood villain worthy of redemption and happy ending like the others.

How was the football game, I had a chance to go but decline and went to Zumba instead. Good thing to, because the football game was postponed due to a rain and lighting storm.

Slurpeez, whenever someone says we’re stupid haters I’ll want them to read your well considered posts! So well stated and your accuracy bums me out because of what this show could have been if there was some competence from the show runners. *sigh*
When I think of haters, I think of trolls, people who hate with no rhyme, reason or justification. They just want to poke the bee’s nest or kick the ant hill. When it comes to Once the people who are displease and unhappy with this show are not some random fans who are out there to make fun of the show for no reason other then just to get under others skin.
No these are people who are or were fans, who had watched this show since season 1 with so much hope and promise of deep complex and amazing story full of hope and family perseverance which go ripped to shreds by sub factions and a pretty face. So if they are angry, hurt, sad, bitter, numb, or upset they all have reason to be.
The one thing that astounds me in this fandom is the double standards. One instant forgive and forget and another instant burn it with fire. He such a jerk oh but he is so romantic. It was in the past, don’t forget the past. That was 300 years ago, but that it was 300 years. It matters it doesn’t matter. (I don’t not pretend I am immune to this)
And to couple with that the polarization and alienation. All of them think this, while all of us think that. And we are so different from them over there yet at the same time completely like them. Them over there us over here.
I also don’t understand the alienation of certain fans because if you are not in the Rumple, Hook, or Regina camp you are pretty much out of luck. ( I am a member of the Grimm fandom, and its so different, the way the show treats its fans, is equally different, the atmosphere more fun and carefree and liberal maybe because there is no shipping overrunning everything???)
KFC is right, this show is about Rumple, Hook, and Regina, and how Emma fits in their lives.
Emma gets to reunite Rumple with his son, Emma gets to be Hook’s his love interest and reward as for doing good deeds, Emma gets to be Regina’s part-time foil and part time co-parent.
I use to think this show was about Emma and Henry but I just don’t see that anymore. (Correct me if I am wrong, but in the finale Emma went in the past and she didn’t speak of her son once, not even a mention, “that I may never get Henry, and I have to fix this because I will may never get Henry.” You know Henry her canon true love, her son. What we got, “I’m in the book now?”)
Anyway I have lost direction of this introspective mindless rant, and I am in need of coffee but we don’t have any. So I leave all you brave souls and troopers who read it to the end with this cute and adorable six second clip.

I actually thought OUAT would have been a three season story arch back when I first started it and thought they had almost everything plan out. The quickly realize, uh no they didn’t.
