Day 2: A character who Neal is important to.
Darlings, especially Wendy Darling who stop at nothing to save young Baelfire. I believe Wendy would have tried to save Neal, when Emma and Rumple had already given up on the notion. Honestly I can see Wendy and Henry tag team to bring Nealfire back from the dead if they could. But that is another show and another time and another life.
Also this character is important to Rumple, Henry, and Emma, as each of them love him, as a son, lover, and father.

Day One: Why is Neal important to the plot (sorry a day late)
Neal is the important to the plot because he is the reason for the curse that was casted by Regina Mills aka Evil Queen aka Snow White’s Evil Step Mother, who is the adopted mother of his son Henry Mills who is also the biological son of Emma Swan who is the love of his life. She is the savior destined to break the curse, who also happens to be the daughter of Snow White and Price Charming. Neal, Emma, and Henry lives along with many others have been deeply affected and altered by a prophecy and a curse. That entire premises of the show is for the Rumple to find his son, Nealfire, through Emma breaking the curse that was created by Evil Queen Regina. What Rumple did forsee was that Emma and Neal will fall in love and conceived Henry Mills, the heart of the truest believer.
So Firethieves why is Neal important to the plot you?

Nothing depresses me more about season 1 is to know how 3.15 went down for baelfire all because a pretty costar needed to win the girl.

They’ve been replaying all the PotC movies on TV here over the last few weeks. At World’s End was on tonight. Ya know, that one where the womansiing, selfish, obsessive, overly confident pirate is moments away from stabbing the heart of Davy Jones to claim immortality and command of the Flying Dutchman. But his dear friend Will, who he’s had some ups and downs with, he’s even hit on the love of his life (one E Swann) a time or two, but deep down he really loves the kid, he did mentor him after all, he’s lying there dying. So Jack does the noble thing, he gives up his shot at the personal victory he so craves, and he lets Will stab the heart instead, so he can cheat death, and even though they can’t be together all the time so it’s not exactly the ideal situation, Will and his true love E Swann CAN still be together. Then Will gets her pregnant, and they have to separate due to reasons beyond their control, but they see each other again 10 years later and Will gets to meet his son. Yeah, I like that story.
It sounds…familiar….
Hmmm can’t put my finger on it though…..darn it, it’ll come to me later.
