For me, Henry behavior is pretty typical of school of aged children rather it be girl or boy. He is maturing now which mean more angst.
Roland is cute and adorable but try babysitting him and I bet that little rascal would be in all kind of shenanigans as he goes through his testing and independence phase.
I’m with RumplesGirl, Henry badly needed a friend, in season 1, Emma was more friend than mother to him. She was like that fun Aunt you get to hang out with, who let you skip school, stay up late and play video games with her, you know the stuff mom’s says no to. I think over time Emma became the role of mother.
I think there were some happy time for Henry and Regina, but things were not perfect. I mean who was babysitting Henry during the Graham get together?????? Also when Henry became more aware of his world he started to realized something is just not quite right? And it seemed that Henry was a very lonely boy.
Now I view both Regina and Emma as Henry’s mother but Regina put her child at risk. But I do believe that she loves Henry very much. She just had to learn that she had to put what’s best for her son first. She also has to learn that a child is not there to meet her needs but she is there to meet his needs. Regina in the past was putting her wants and desires before Henry’s.
Anyway back to RG, Henry need’s a friend. I thought Pinocchio was going to be that friend? But who knows what happen with him?? Do they even exist???
Anyway I think Henry having a friend first and maybe later a girlfriend. Although that past missing year he did have a chance to have some friends off screen when all the good important stuff happens. So although we didn’t get to see Henry with friends, Henry had some. But I think season 4 we see magic Henry and Henry with his first crush of some magical fairytale person. Be funny if he feel in love with a real world girl. But I doubt it.
Well I’m done rambling nonsense for now. LOL 😀

Silly Neal bribes don’t work on Henry, especially when he sets his mind on trying to do what’s right….
Ah the good old days, back when story was important, fandom was fun, and the only love triangle was Emma and Regina battling for Henry….
Remember when spend every episode trying to unravel the mystery and the endings were real twist endings. That made us go OMG, didn’t see that coming. Remember we all had fun over the hiatus playing games, theorizing, and speculating. It wasn’t about OMG a major character is going to die or shipping. Remember happy endings, fate, and hope… Gosh it was some good fandom fun times back then… ..I freaking HATE love triangles…. because they always end in crap….

Howdy! It’s been ages (former alias>>>Mickstemp can’t remember my old password lol). Having to log on under my main twitter account here but I wanted to share a little something for you guys. I’ve been slowly peeling away editing this video for the past year and just now got around to wrapping it up. Haven’t kept up with the show apart from my tumblr dash occasionally posting a cute gif set, or a couldawouldashoulda fic of the pair. Nor, do I have the desire to tune in next season. But I had to finish this edit despite my break up with the show because damn it…I always finish what I start. If nothing else, the process of editing this video helped bookend their story for me. They now belong to the fandom who will undoubtedly give them their many happy endings. This is just my small contribution to one of the many. To my fellow Swanfire warriors <3

Actually when I came into season 1 and throughout season 2 I thought Emma was going to be happily ever after single mom. Especially after the true love kiss between her and Henry. I thought that was really neat and novel idea.

So this is really sadden that the his show treat something like this so trivial as tongue and cheek kind of thing
They are treating it like it’s entertainment and the stuff of fairy tales. How is Roland loosing his mother hopeful? Either Robin chooses Regina and Marian more or less vanishes or she dies.
And you know they’ll never let the kids who’ve lost parents work through that trauma. Henry is barely going to blink an eye that Neal is gone.
RumpleGirl I don’t understand how is this suppose to be something to be happy and excited about. Maybe its just to close to home, who knows…..

You know watching a family dissolved is just a sad thing for me on a personal level. I know the hardships, sorrow, and pain. I know what it like to not have your father around, I know what its like to not have your mother around, I know what its like to be shifted from place to place, home to home as a child. I know what its like to watching your family break apart and come together again. That sh!t is painful as F-k. So this is really sadden that the his show treat something like this so trivial as tongue and cheek kind of thing. It upset me that it calls upon the some of the fandom to ship Marian, an innocent and goodhearted person with a mother and wife with a noose. Why are we suppose to root for death of a mother, why are we suppose to root that a family is broken up, for what pointless drama, because a good soul true love is with the person who killed his wife and mother of his child. But of course its been retconned now, since Emma pulled his wife from certain death. Now she’s is just an obstacle between the happiness of her past murderer who now wants to replace her past victim as the wife and mother to her husband and son. This is what the fandom is expected to root for now.
It just remind me of study we read back in my general psych class.
