What’s coming the rest of Once Upon a Time Season 2?
Horowitz previewed: “I would say that it is pretty nonstop and that all the pieces we’ve put on the table in the start of the season are now finally intersecting and there’s some big reveals and there’s some character’s returning that we haven’t seen in a while and it’s all coming together to a finale that we really are very excited about and hope the audience feels the same way.”

Does this include Mulan and Aurora? Or the wraith? That covers more than the first 1/4 season, you know.

MysteryKat, It’s not just the east coast. Central and Mountain time also got the same feed as you. I had a lot of west coast Fringe fans as well. There seemed a pretty standard unspoken protocol. Those who didn’t want to be spoiled would clear out before the show started and those of us in the in the other three time zones would wrap up any spoilery talk within a half hour of the show’s end. If the conversation would continue, we’d either take it to DM’s or to a private chat system.

Even the cast and crew would be online and involved in the conversations at times. When they were, they always had the grace to be around for both showings. The ones who had a bit of a harder time were the international fans, though I understand that the hardcore fans had “arrangements” to watch live with us in the US.

It wasn’t planned or agreed to, but something that just made sense and people did on their own. I never saw complaints on Twitter, the forums or on the podcasts. At one point, there was decent Twitter chatter on Once, but it seemed to be a lot of Fringe crossover.

I’ve been tempted to do something like my old Fringe running commentaries just to try and get that live community action going again. It was a fun group online.

    I love Emma. So. Much.

Oh wow… and I just made a comment about the family thing before I saw this over in the Sneak Peak #4 & #5 thread. I stand vindicated! Now I’ve gotta watch…

I agree with that positioning. In fact that’s one of the things I do like about this show. They can take a story point that would be the climax or a cliffhanger for any other show and make it the “mere” starting point for an Once episode.

I think it’s not going to be just Snow, though it’s pretty clear she’s going to have the central theme, but the entire changing dynamic of the Charming’s (gee, wasn’t that an old 80’s sitcom?) family. What struck me in both The Queen Is Dead and in the sneak peeks is that while, yes, there is the need to fight Cora there is also a sense that Gold (and Neal) is family.

That kind of misdirection/tease might work with the casual watcher that just tunes in on Sundays, but the hardcore fandom has been discussing this for some time.

Of course, their goal may be more focused on getting the Twitter chatter up — which is always a good thing. That’s actually something which has surprised me a bit. I’ve seen a lot of overlap between Once fans and Fringe, yet Twitter is rather quiet in comparisons. I sorta miss the mass watching with all the running commentary, etc.

Actually, I think it could be in Regina’s heart vault. If she “inherited” that one from her mother, it could well be mixed in with those other hearts. That vault of Cora’s in The Doctor looks a lot like Regina’s vault in Storybrooke. If only Cora knew which heart was hers, there’d be a bit of safety there.

Stef, welcome on. As someone else who’s rather new here, these guys are a great group of people. I’ve seen none of the attitude or elitism that I’ve seen on forums for other shows in years past.

You did manage to get caught up on season 1, right? If not, I know it’s on Netflix and Amazon Prime, plus you can probably check it out at the library. Missing season 2 episodes are pretty easy to snag if you have Hulu+. That’d be a great way to spend the trial membership, if you have done so already, as well.

Well, I do remember a time in the ’80’s when theoretical tinkering with trinary logic was a bit of the rage… 😀
