There is one positive on it, though… the hiatus does allow for more time in post production where all the CGI and effects are done. I’m betting these last episodes are going to be fairly intense, so giving them the extra time to do their magic could pay off for the fans.
Now what they do with the down time, I think, is an open discussion. Personally, I would really like to see them select a few key episodes that would help get new viewers interested and up to speed. A serial show like this has a hard time getting new viewers, so anything the network can do to make it easier helps.

What happens the rest of the season PLUS…. #178270raulybarraParticipantAs others have noted, this is mostly speculation/assumption on the part of the journalist, though probably pretty accurate. Plus H&K have been known to play with our minds a bit while not exactly lying to us…
I will admit, though, I’m still not fond of Bae also being Peter — nearly as much as Daniel. However, if we see him flying in a black leather trench coat and black RayBan’s rather than a green frock and tights. Maybe a heavy metal bass line when he takes off? After all, Neal does sound quite a bit like Neo… ๐
raulybarraParticipantHey, big question… do we know how far into the episode the phone call occurs? If it is towards the beginning, midway through or near the end gives very different context in the speculation. I.e. is it a climatic moment or is it setting up something even bigger? Do we see the payoff that night or must we agonizingly wait?
That’s one of the things that whoever does these teaser is usually very good about — leading us to think one thing but given us something that is either quite different or much better than expected.

“I think she’s going to be very surprised when she learns who the father is,” Parrilla teased.
Interesting! Might Regina have “encountered” Neal before? “Possibly,” she added, a sly gleam in her eye.
I think the quote can be pretty much considered from face value. It’s going to be interesting when she finds out her adopted son is the grandson of her mortal enemy. (Ok… maybe a bit of exaggeration on the mortal part, though I would love to see the details on how she went from apprentice to foe)

Yes exactly RumplesGirl! Like the curse messed up the Wheel of Time. In LOST, there was that big wheel beneath the Island’s core that had to be turned to change the Island’s location. While maybe the curse changed a wheel in time.
Whoa! When you said Wheel of Time, the first thing I thought of was the brutishly long and drawn out Robert Jordan series of books. Probably the worst possible example for Once to take.
Actually, I’ve been wondering and have had a few offline discussion if Storybrooke may become something of a nexus between the Lands. The beans certainly set that up as a possibility. There wouldn’t be an issue then of Emma perhaps living here, Snow and Charming in EF, etc.
Henry: “Hey, I’m going over to Grandpa’s to hunt ogres.”
Emma: “Wear your warm coat. And be back in time for dinner. We’re eating at Granny’s tonight.”raulybarraParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:
The third one: it’s hard to love someone if you don’t have a heart.
Which is a lesson we learned last season in Heart of Darkness.
raulybarraParticipantObisgirl, I like it, it seems like everything else magical that isn’t in Regina’s vault ends up there. The thing is, if it is there, I would think that Cora wouldn’t know. She seemed mighty confident about her heart being in a safe place when she confronted Hook in Wonderland.

Clip 5: Darn you, Cora! You are indeed wicked! ๐ฟ Right as she’s about to crush Cora’s heart, I want Snow to Say, “My name is Snow White, and you killed my mother. Now, prepare to die!”
And that’s why I said in another thread that Rumple will only be mostly dead. He has truuuuuueeeeee loooovvvvvveeeee to live for.
raulybarraParticipantI remember (and am revealing my age) back when Babylon 5 was airing, Joe Straczynski was teasing a major death in mid-season 3. The fandom went nuts theorizing and yet at the end of the day it was Lord Refa. (after 20 years, I’m not worrying about letting out a spoiler…) A guest role that had been in and out over the course of the show. Not exactly a lie, but certainly a bit of misdirection. True, several starring roles did die during the course of the show, but not in this teased case.
I don’t see how it can be Hook. Neverland just wouldn’t be right without him and that’s where it sounds like were going in season 3.
Rumple then? Well, I can accept mostly dead, but he has truuueeeee looovvvvvvveeeee to live for, so I’m sure there will be some miracle. We can rule him out.
Cora? That’s my most likely. It takes Snow into that dark place we’ve been hearing about and it wraps a storyline that will have gone too far if it’s stretched much further.

I think it’s going to be Snow. If Snow ends up killing Cora by candle, to save Rumple, then I think it’s very possible we’re going to see Dark Snow, much like in Heart of Darkness.
I can easily go with Snow killing Cora by the candle. But the more I think about it the less I think it will take us to a Dark Snow. Where I think will more likely go is that
- + Snow does what is necessary in killing Cora.
+ Snow is wracked with guild because she enjoyed it so much.
+ She did the right thing for the wrong reasons and now has to reconcile that within her. -
