I have to admit, I didn’t get that understanding at first glance. About the characters having an identity in both worlds (FTL/TEF and our world). I was initially thinking more towards how each character relates to their parents/relatives. Kind of how like some of us have similar facial features as our parents or even how our behaviour is similar. Maybe it’s both, why or why not? Additionally, would there be an actual reason to expand the dimensions any further then it has unraveled thus far???

rcaret7zParticipantGreetings and salutations! Have you tried Hulu.com? I find that is a good place to revisit if you are not able to DVR the show or if you just prefer to check it out online. Looking forward to further conversations and discussions!
rcaret7zParticipantYou all can blame it on whoever you want, I’m still blaming Regina’s mom. If it weren’t for her, Snow and Regina would probably be chillin’ at the local tavern! 😆
Oh wait, Regina had a man… 😮 Well, maybe she and her man and Snow and PC at the local tavern perhaps???
😎rcaret7zParticipantGreetings and salutations Ashleigh! What do you think of misplaced trust and how it builds a dividing force between Snow and Regina?
rcaret7zParticipantThe way I took it was that they were sort of “frozen” in time. Kind of like time was going on but everyone (character wise) in FTL was in a frozen state. I’m not exactly sure how else to explain it other than using the word “frozen” but it would make more sense to me if that is what happened. I don’t think that everyone in FTL was transported (for the lack of a better word) to our world. I think that the curse did not affect parts of FTL, at least the story would make more sense if it didn’t.
rcaret7zParticipantI was thinking the same namely because supposedly our mystery man is in New York, or so it seems. I don’t really recall there being a location stamp so other than people familiar with the location being shot, others making mention of a familiar location or just subtle hints of the location via atmosphere relation, I would have never guessed that the location this gentleman was living in was New York. I was doing a little bit of research into who this artist is and hoping it would give way to some kind of identity to our mystery man. Although he does have a good sound, there seemed to be some “odd” controversy surrounding his life. Although it isn’t so surprising, as with some if not most artist of his age, I still find it somewhat “shocking”?
(slightly off the current topic)
I like that it may not have been intended research but that knowing of these things helps to understand what was possibly thought about when the writers were putting their own thoughts and time at producing a script. It might not have anything to do with the story currently unfolding but knowing that others had arrived at a similar thought process, makes it “cool” to a certain degree.rcaret7zParticipant@Surayya wrote:
Didnt H&K say magic is something you have to learn & some do/some dont, but it ways comes with a price???
I really hope they don’t make Emma magic (all the powerful magic people have ended up corrupt with that amount of power- I don’t consider the fairies as ‘being’ magic as such, as they require wands & fairy dust to perform magical acts, so it’s more a tool than part of them). I do hope she has to learn to control her ability to ‘facilitate’ the use of ambient magic, which is what I’m personally hoping she has.
I actually have a similar notion but I think the key here is to make sure Emma has the appropriate time needed/required to “process” everything that has happened. If not, I can only see one outcome and it isn’t a very “bright” one at that. Still hopeful though ❗
