Cora and Eva could also have just been good friends at some point and not actual sisters (as to not mess up the family tree more then it already is).
Or they could always do the whole separated at birth thing again, and Cora ends up being a miller’s daughter and is resentful of Eva when she finds out.
Or they could do a spin-off of the Goose Girl and maybe at one point Cora was a servant working for Eva’s family.
Either way I love the idea that Eva and Cora had a prior relationship that ended badly, and that’s why Cora eventually killed Eva.

Regina comes into Rumple’s castle after Belle leaves (I think Gold is spinning) and says “I want to talk to you about a certain mermaid” (something along those lines) after which she proceeds to tell him that Belle died.

I think that there’s a possibility that Ariel and Hook could have met in the past, even if he is not her Eric. In Ariel’s beginning (the third little mermaid movie) we learn that Ariel’s mother was killed when she was crushed by a pirate ship. In S03E01 of the Little Mermaid tv series, Sebastian ends up on a pirate ship and they have to rescue them.
As well in the official podcast (I forget which episode) they said that they are going to be exploring whether someone can find true love again.

I think that it was a spell, since Rumple didn’t know about the whole memory thing, it could be that Cora did that to keep Regina there if the curse broke, hence, Rumple has to go to her for help to get Belle’s memories back

As well I think Rumple might take on the role of Ursula, as they both have a fondness for making deals. (Ursula made deals that often led to merfolk being turned into those creepy things that gave me nightmares). Plus the name of Ursula’s main song, “Poor Unfortunate Souls”, is quite similar to the episode entitled “Desperate Souls”

Yes I completely agree, it was more of a metaphor sort of thing. Just like the water changed the bean, her trip and all she saw and experienced changed her.

I definitely am looking forward to seeing Ariel. With the squid ink (Ursala was drawn with only six tentacles which technically makes her a squid) I feel like we got even more foreshadowing that it will be coming.

In Season 3 episode 1 of the Little Mermaid Series Ariel has to rescue Sebastian from a gang of pirates.
