Found these questions on Tumblr and thought they’d be fun to answer to pay respect to the good ship Hookriel!

1. When did you first start shipping Hookriel and why do you ship them?

Pretty much right after Hook first appeared, I was googling Hook, and then I got this bright idea that Hook could be Ariel’s Eric, so I googled Hook and Ariel and I came across the lovely Hookriel community!

2. If you were in the fandom before JoAnna was cast, who was your ideal Ariel?

I never really had somebody exact in mind, I thought Britney Snow might be good in case they wanted to get musical, plus I love her with red hair. But after seeing Joanna, I think she is the perfect Ariel!

3. Tell us what your headcanons for Hookriel are.

Well as of now, Ariel finds Eric to discover that he’s married to a brunette named Vanessa, and Hook returns to storybrooke after Emma chooses Neal, and finds the mute mermaid he occasionally came across on his adventures. Now that revenge and the loss of Milha have cleared from his mind he has a new appreciation for the once mute mermaid, and they talk for the first time in like 300 years. (this kinda hinges on mermaids being immortal kinda like fairies) Then boom boom boom they decide that they can move on from their past loves, and go on adventues in the Jolly Roger, with Ariel being able to return to the sea at any point because of her bracelet.

When you say nothing at all by Allison Krauss, if I were talented I’d make a fan video to it

7. Tell us your favorite AU Hookriel setting.

I guess that would be that Hook was once Eric, my fanfic that I’ve been writing is now AU (darn writers :P):

So I absolutely loved loved this episode! and though Eric was no Hook I was okay with it. I still love Hookriel, and this episode did provide some doubt on the Ariel and Eric are Hook’s parents theory–for surely Eric isnt
