Hello! Welcome to the site!
[adrotate group="5"]riddleravenParticipantWoot woot! Thanks. 😀
riddleravenParticipantHmm. If he’s doing all of this in order to die in the end Regina could stop him by letting him see Belle. Because then he wouldn’t want to die. Do you think she will? I know she has Belle for leverage against him. Like she used Henry for leverage with Emma.
But I don’t think that he wants to die or give up his power. I think he wants to win. Even now he’s still in a power struggle with Regina, telling her that he’s still stronger than her behind bars. I think he wants to beat her once and for all—that’s his goal in my mind.
I don’t think the fact that he helped her means that he isn’t trying to break the curse. He can tell the future and usually fortune tellers believe that the future will happen no matter what, right? So he saw that the curse would happen and he also saw that it would be broken eventually and he wasn’t going to try to stop it. He simply wanted to use it to his own advantage, which he has, through his deal with Regina & Snow.
riddleravenParticipantBut the reason we think he wants kids in the first place is to replace his son. So it doesn’t make sense for him to go through all that trouble just to kill the baby.
riddleravenParticipantWell, we know now that Rumple remembers and he seems to want to break the curse and seems to have arranged to bring Henry and through him Emma here. So I can imagine that he wrote the book to reveal the truth to someone (and Henry is the ideal recipient) and left it to be found. I don’t want Rumple to be behind absolutely everything either but I do think that’s a plausible theory that fits a character who takes an active role in getting what he wants.
riddleravenParticipantThat’s cute xD I guess the dwarves names could change like that.
riddleravenParticipantThere was a book I really liked as a kid called Heckedy Peg and wow that is definitely a dark story with a moral. The kids open the door to a stranger even though they aren’t supposed to and get kidnapped and turned into FOOD for the kidnapper to eat. Oh, god. And the mother has to pretend to CUT OFF her feet and then her legs in order to be non-threatening enough for the kidnapper to agree to let her in. Then she has one chance to figure out which kid is which food to break the curse… It’s very disturbing and suspenseful. But I liked it because of the mom. I just thought she was so great! She was clever and she saved them. My mother hated that story but she still read it to me several times. Honestly, I think part of me may be a tiny bit twisted from stories like that xD But oh well.
riddleravenParticipantHi, Daniel. You know, the other podcasters should probably do an intro post too… And thank goodness for Jeremy because I love this podcast 😀
riddleravenParticipantlol. Well thanks, Nonnie! And hi!
