“Tell her I love her, and she was right, I will see her again.”
EEEEEEEK!!!!!
[adrotate group="5"]rumbelledearieParticipant“Rumple, Pan and Rumple’s dad did the dagger scene, which ended with Rumple (standing) holding his dad in his arms. At one point (off set) Emilie took out a tissue to wipe her eyes, so I am pretty sure she was crying. MRJ was standing kind of behind her and nudged her foot with his foot, kind of like “Are you okay?” It was really a sweet moment.”
Aww, that’s so sweet. This episode is going to kill me.
rumbelledearieParticipantI agree RG. At first when the brothers theory came up I didn’t really support it but as the season has gone on there have been so many clues pointing to it. I love that Adam and Eddy twist stories but I like the idea of going back to the original story of PP and doing the brothers thing, rather than have him be his father. I didn’t like Pinocchio being aged down and I don’t want to have another character already aged down and be aged up again lol. But it’s Adam and Eddy so either theory is completely possible.
rumbelledearieParticipantEven though two people get stabbed (PP and the older man), special effects could still be added afterwards to make it look like the boy transforms into the man. This would be similar in concept to when August transformed into a little boy again in “Selfless, Brave, and True.” They had Eion Bailey, who played August, lay on the ground. Next, sequentially, they had Jakob Davies, who plays young August, lay in the same position. Then, the production team blended those two scenes together, added a special effect, and viola, magic! August transformed into a little boy again! So, it could be a very similar technique if PP gets transformed into a grown man, who happens to be played by the same man who has been cast as Rumple’s father (the actor is Stephen Lord).
Oh I’m sure that’s how they’ll do it if in fact PP is Rumple’s father. I’m just saying why would Rumple need to stab Stephen Lord as well? There was a report from someone saying that in the scene Rumple had no problem stabbing PP but he was upset about having to stab the second man (Stephen Lord). If he stabbed PP the boy and they do the switch-up like you described, then after he’s transformed Stephen Lord would still be injured/stabbed and there would be no need to stab him again (cause they were the same character). Unless PP and Rumple’s dad are two separate characters and not one in the same, I don’t see why Rumple would have to stab him a second time.
Idk, it just seems too weird for PP to be his father lol. But ya never know.
rumbelledearieParticipantThat’s true but the crew also started putting up huge walls/blockades after the photographers apparently got zealous. So what happens next we’re missing. And I’m grateful. I love spoilers but I kinda wish I didn’t see half of these. (though I’m adamant in my belief that PP does NOT = Rumple’s father)
Oh okay, I didn’t know they blocked the rest of the scene. I also don’t think PP is Rumple’s father. The reports say that Rumple stabs PP and then stabs a second person (middle-aged man/Rumple’s father). He had already stabbed PP, so even if PP ages up he’s still stabbed, the wound doesn’t go away, so Rumple wouldn’t have to stab him again if it were the same person.
Maybe they shot these scenes out of sequence – they wanted to get the stunt work over with so they shot Robert stabbing them both one after the other, and once they cut and edit the episode together the stabbings won’t happen so close together (after the blocks went up they might’ve shot a scene with Rumple’s dad coming up to him after stabbing PP or something like that). Idk, who knows how this stuff works lol.

I mean a “wind” fan…
I suspect the massive fan was set up because there’s gonna be a magical moment that will blow everyone’s hair back, like when the Curse was broken. My guess would be that there’s a wave of magical energy that flows out when Pan dies.
I was wondering why that fan was there lol, I like it!
The only thing is we don’t really see any shots of Robert Carlyle falling down afterward to make me think he’s going to need TLK to save him. Wouldn’t him being injured/dying after stabbing Pan be shown in this scene? Unless I missed something, which is possible lol.
rumbelledearieParticipantUnknowns: I read somewhere that the cast had to pretend to be frozen for a minute during the scene. Not sure where or how that fits in. Also in one of the pics it looks like Neal is watching something in the sky while taking a defensive posture in front of Belle. I’d suspect Pan’s shadow is flying around, but this is a day scene so /shrug.
Were they frozen in the scene or in between takes? Cause they have to switch Robbie Kay out for the guy who plays Rumple’s dad and so the cast probably had to hold position while they switched so the shot would look the same.
I was also wondering what Neal was looking up at in that shot with Belle. It would be interesting if the shadow was there.
rumbelledearieParticipantHe’s protecting her!
He is! He is!
I can’t wait to see some Neal/Belle scenes!! Finally! (As well as Rumbelle/Hook scenes)
rumbelledearieParticipantI can’t wait for this episode. Why is John still calling PP and the Lost boys the Home office? If John and Michael know they’re working for PP, why not say that?
That’s exactly what I’m wondering. It’s not a secret anymore. Is it possible they’re like Greg and Tamara and *somehow* don’t know it’s PP? That would be weird, but you’d think if they knew they’d just call him Pan lol.
rumbelledearieParticipantThere was definitely a tweet from Adam where someone asked if NL time is like a minute in SB where we see all of this stuff happening in NL but in SB only 5 minutes have passed, and Adam said that no when we see SB it’s five days later. I took that to mean in both realms.
I think the whole “time stands still thing” just refers to biological time, as RG said.
