I think they have to slow down the momentum of their relationship… … … … I do not think H&K knew everyone would love RUMPLE and Belle so much. So they have to find ways to make the relationship last while the rest of their original plan plays out….. So Gold/ Rumple goes off to WAR maybe to find out that he is NOT A COWARD when it really counts….. maybe to get undone…. I think this will be the story to watch. … Gold needs to be worthy of Belle, be redeemed, prove his worth to himself and to her. Belle needs to find her own strength separate from Rumple / Gold.

.Sorry but they don’t have momentum, there’s been NO progression with their relationship. And we’re not going to see Belle come into her own we’re probably not even going to see her until they all come back to SB.
And as for them having 5 years of stories – well great then that means we’ll only get a season and a half with any progression? 3.5 seasons with no pay-off is not fair and frankly they’re wasting EdR’s talent.

There was such a chance for character development and they didn’t take it.
I’m beginning to think we’re being stupid even investing in her or the relationship because obviously they’re just a side thing to A & E and we’re not going to get anything good. I still love them but it’s hard to stay invested in a relationship or character when you get squat for 3 seasons. Seriously, we’ve literally seen next to nothing with Belle and Rumbelle.Ugh and I totally forgot there are no more beans. So now we have to wait for them to get Henry, deal with Pan, whatever delays there might be, then having to find a way to leave NL. The reunion really won’t be til December huh?

To be honest, I’m not that much of a Rumbeller, but really, come on. If they are endgame, then just let them be already. I’m tired of them just making excuses to keep them apart for no good reason.
Exactly, and that’s what makes this so frustrating because it’s for no good reason.

Seriously though, I feel that Belle will actually be a major character this season. She’s been too wimpy so far (except for her alter-ego Lacey) and it’s time to show her tough side. Think of the ramifications and turmoil that will occur after the near destruction of the town and the fact the leaders of the town sailed off to find Henry with the return unknown. King George may rear his ugly self. I expect there to be quite a power play in StoryBrooke, with Belle, Grumpy, Ruby and King George as central characters with some of Moe’s involvement.
I wish I could say I agree but unfortunately I doubt they’ll show much of SB until everyone returns from NL.
And at least in the first season with Snow and Charming they were developing the relationship and they were only separated for like an episode or so at a time. With Rumbelle we see them having a date like twice for one minute and then they’re separated for half a season, and now they’ll be separated for half a season again.@RumplesGirl wrote:

And I guess the two Rumbelle kisses as well, although they totally don’t make up for their separation this season OR their future separation in S3.I loved that Belle’s memories were brought back, and Chip! I loved seeing the NL scenes with Hook and seeing the human side of him (you know, before he handed Bae over to the boys). I love that we get to see Rumple and the Charmings and Hook working together in a new land (does this mean Rumple will be green again?)
Still severely disappointed in the Belle situation.

Ugh, and now we have the whole summer to stew about this and will probably have to wait through a good chunk of the beginning of season 3 before anything happens with Belle/EdR.
