Hahahaha I like they way you think!
[adrotate group="5"]rumbelledearieParticipantIt’s tonight, I forget which interview it was but Adam and Eddy said it happens in 2×21.
rumbelledearieParticipantNeal better be back!!
Btw, is anyone else nervous about the game-changer lol? It just hit me that we’ll find out in 4 hours (east coast at least) and my hopes for a better relationship between Gold and Neal may soon be squashed 🙁

Because H and K said that Emma reminds Nealfire of Wendy, I think there is a big story to be told with her. Either she’s still alive in NL or she died in some horrible way that maybe caused Bae to leave NL.
Also, anyone want to bet that next week we get hit with about a thousand Colin interviews? I’m sensing a pattern here. With Lacey we had tons of EdR stuff and this week it’s all MRJ. Something tells me Colin will be super busy next week.
Wendy was definitely super important to Bae in some way. Plus, the first time he felt like a part of a family seems to be with the Darlings and Wendy, and he probably didn’t experience that again til Emma.
I wouldn’t mind some Colin interviews 🙂

Too me there has never been a love triangle, people just see what that want to see or wish to happen when nothing is really there. ❗ I too will be so glad when we get rid of Hook so this sillness stuff of shipping people will stop and we can actually all move on and watch the show without people harping on Emma and a Hook connection good grief. 😡
To be fair to the CS’ers, there is something between Emma and Hook. For me, the most genuine Hook has ever been was toward the end of Tallahassee when he says “Look into my eyes, Swan. Have I lied to you?” I think he honestly would have been on her side and helped her. I do think there is something to explore there because I don’t see Hook as just a “dark” character.
Also, Hook isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. He’s going to be around for a long time and I think he should be, even if I don’t find him as compelling as some fans do. He does have a story that will be interesting. There’s definitely chemistry there, but it will only go as far as flirting. It reminds me of the Jack/Kate/Sawyer thing – sure Kate and Sawyer had a connection, but it wasn’t an in-it-for-the-long-haul type of thing, they just wouldn’t have worked. Same with Emma/Hook.
And I think after these two episodes we’ll see Hook as a more well-rounded character. Especially since 2×22 is supposed to be Hook-centric.rumbelledearieParticipant@HappyEndings wrote:

Haha yeah I’ve never seen the triangle either. It’s always been so obvious that Neal and Emma are meant for each other.
I don’t want to get rid of Hook though, I’d like to see his character evolve and be more than just a guy out for revenge. He’s a fun character (although I still hold a grudge over what he did to Belle and will not fully like him again til she gets her memory back lol).rumbelledearieParticipantOkay I totally never saw that pic and now I’m really worried about Neal 😥 Especially since Gold looks upset too.

I’m happy so far as Emma & Neal talking out the past and coming to terms with exactly what went down. Also excited to see what the NealFire / Rumple game changer is. So many ideas and still no clue!
I’m still adament however that a lot of time has passed, Emma & Neal are different people now, and just because they had something 10 years ago (and a kid…) doesn’t mean that they absolutely 100% HAVE to be endgame. They might be, but they don’t “have” to be. Yes it’s a fairy tale story but they have real world experiences (especially Emma) so as much as Henry might want his parents together, sometimes that’s not the case in the real world, fairy tale influence or not, so we’ll have to see.
It’s the end of season 2. Hopefully there’s a long slow burn for whoever Emma ends up with or she’ll just become boring in that department like all the others that we know have to end up together. (Also, as annoying as it is that RumBelle is often split up, RumBelle is still interesting / exciting and Snowing is *somewhat* boring. I’d rather not end up with a boring, predictable SwanFire this early in the game which is one of the reasons I love the excitement of the CaptainSwan possibility – don’t get me wrong I love Snowing, it’s just not as interesting most of the time these days (their FTL flashbacks are significantly more interesting). Emma is the one character who has no set, predetermined true love we’ve grown up knowing. I like that.)
I AM thrilled, however, that Emma & Neal will be addressing stuff. They have a lot of history that needs clearing up in order to coexist in Henry’s life which to me IS the perfect endgame, regardless of how any couplings shake out. His family tree is tangled enough but he needs them all there: his mom, dad, adopted mom, grandparents, etc etc. He has a lot of people who love him and that is the ultimate happy ending, whether at 11 he believes that or not.
Who knows, maybe the last 2 episodes of the season will change my mind since we’re getting more on NealFire but as much as I love young Bae I’m not impressed with what he became (though he is infinitely better than what I expected knowing what he went through with falling through the portal and Rumple abandoning him. I expected him to grow up into a very different person, especially with the way Emma used to talk about him – whatever happened with that married person thing she hinted at? Must have been a different relationship). Anyway, he’s better than he was and has potential so perhaps in filling more gaps I’ll see more of it too but I really think if we get SwanFire any time soon it’ll mostly be boring hohum stuff and then they better introduce somebody awesome for Hook so I can get behind that – can’t stand the idea of anybody we’ve seen on the show so far with him, at least at this point in time.
I agree I don’t want a resolution with Neal/Emma this soon. It’s the same reason I’m glad Rumbelle still have issues haha, although this amnesia thing is KILLING me and I want Belle back, it keep their story interesting and it’s going to add more depth to both characters. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks present day Snowing is boring! I LOVE them in FTL, but in SB they are so dull and incompetent – David’s always getting knocked out and they’re walking around town talking about their plans when they should be more smart. That’s why I’m excited to see them go to another land hopefully this will bring back their Snow/Charming sides rather than MM/David.
At Paleyfest Adam and Eddy said that Henry’s happy ending is having his family come together so I think no matter what happens between Emma and Neal the best thing they can do is take care of their unfinished business so they can move on for Henry. Although I do hope they get back together lol…rumbelledearieParticipantOops sorry bout that! Didn’t see that it was on here already.

TVLINE | Emma been trying to convince Neal that Tamara is bad news. What new evidence might she trot out this week?
You know Emma, man. She gets on a case and she goes after it pretty fiercely. She definitely feels that Tamara has got some evil intentions, and she is going to try to convince me that she may have had something to do with Regina being kidnapped.TVLINE | Whether he was protecting Emma’s destiny or not, do you think that Neal still harbors some guilt about what happened all those years ago?
I am glad you asked that. Yes. I think he does, but Neal feels that he really didn’t have a choice in the mater. It was a matter of her fulfilling her destiny and for the greater good. I mean, we’re talking about her saving a town full of people that I grew up with, people from Fairytale Land, so these aren’t total strangers where I can be like, “Screw them. This is about me and my love.” MICHAEL RAYMOND-JAMES, JENNIFER MORRISONSo, in Neal’s mind he was sort of jumping on the grenade for the greater good. But of course there’s guilt. Of course there’s pain for having inflicted pain on someone you care about. I don’t know how you get beyond that.TVLINE | [Series creators] Eddy [Kitsis] and Adam [Horowitz] told us that in addition to whatever Emma might still feel for Neal, Neal probably still feels something for Emma. Is he going to start to cop that?
You’re going to see some of that this week, a broaching of that subject is definitely going to come. We’re beginning to scratch the surface on that and at least acknowledge some of the unfinished business that’s been hanging over our heads since we first saw each other again.TVLINE | ‘Cause I am just telling you, man — if it was me? I’d carry a torch for Jennifer Morrison for some time.
[Laughs] She is the best. One of the great things about this show is the cast. Morrison and I have become really, really great buddies, so it’s so much fun going to work. If I’m having a bad day, she knows how to make that better and vice versa. We sort of developed a shorthand between each other as people in terms of getting through the days together. I couldn’t have asked for a better situation to fall into.RELATED | Once Upon a Time: Neal’s Peter Pan Connection, Tamara’s Boss and 7 More Burning Questions Answered
TVLINE | We saw Tamara eavesdropping when Neal and August reconnected in New York City, but are we ever going to connect any dots on why exactly she decided to latch on to you?
That’s a good question. The thing with this show, aside from it being an incredibly difficult to talk about, is that we, audience members and actors alike, need to be able to trust that the future will further define the meaning of the present. There are times that you just have to go with it and you know that the people in charge of the show are smart people and they’re aware of where they’re leaving things, and it’s all by design. Further on down the road we’ll have more explanation, so when you go back and look at it again, it will tie together.TVLINE | Let’s talk about the blanks we know will be filled in this week. DYLAN SCHMID, FREYA TINGLEYWhat can you say about the flashbacks for Young Bae, hanging with Wendy Darling in Victorian London?
I can say that you want to stay tuned for them because it’s going to be awesome.TVLINE | We’ll find out how it is that he knew Hook previously?
That could be something we find out, yeah….TVLINE | There’s a “really big” twist coming up this week involving Rumple and Neal. What can you say about it? Is it going to be emotional gut-punch?
At PaleyFest, Bobby [Carlyle] called it a “game-changer,” and I think that this will certainly change the course of the path that they had previously entered on.TVLINE | Is it more shocking, or more sad? Or a bit of both?
Bob Dylan had a great quote one time about people asking, “Do you think any of these kids who come to your shows and listen to the words you’re saying have any idea what you’re actual message is?” He said, “Listen, man, I just go out there and sing, I don’t try to get anybody to listen.” I think that however people receive [the twist], whether it’s shocking or a gut-punch, is up to them. We just go out there and try to tell a story as best we can.TVLINE | Going from something so grounded, real and gritty as Terriers to this, was that sort of by design, or do you just go where the work is?
I always choose jobs based on material, and when I first met with Adam and Eddy and they discussed what this show was and what they wanted to do with the character, their enthusiasm is incredibly infectious. It is sort of a departure for me — even from fantasy shows that I have done before, like True Blood, which is much darker –but I was so interested in the stories that they were telling that I wanted to jump on board. I try to stay grounded whether I’m talking about stealing somebody’s wallet in Terriers or if I’m talking about magic in Storybrooke!Still have no idea what the Rumple/Neal change can be 😡
