I got Rumple!!! Woohoo!!

The color and intensity of the light suggests that it was very “you have been redeemed!”
And in the Disney Beauty and the Beast, when the Beast transformed he was engulfed in a light like that. He definitely broke his curse/was redeemed.
rumbelledearieParticipantI don’t know if we saw it (I tried lol) but Pan pointed at his wrist and said “Still, no magic” and Rumple said “Ah but I don’t need it” and then went into the whole shadow thing. So I’m not sure how he was able to summon his shadow without magic, or maybe he did cut his hand off and then fix it but decided that for once he was going to fight without magic. I kind of like the idea of him having magic but CHOOSING not to use it rather than him not using it simply because he couldn’t. Shows so much more growth.

It’s like right before. Most people think they are going to show 312 at Paley. Also, I sorta love your post. You’re right. All the interviews lately have been about the upcoming stuff and haven’t mentioned a Rumple no longer in existence but as if Rumple is still a very real factor in the show.
Okay awesome, so we’ll get some answers (or at least hints), especially if Bobby is there. Which he always is.
I keep clinging to those interviews lol, he’ll be okay.
rumbelledearieParticipantAnd notice we fans are the only ones talking like Rumple is dead. In the interview with Bobby and Emilie he talked about how we’ll see Rumple hasn’t completely changed and that “maybe season 4” comment. Plus, in that new article about the Wicked Witch that was posted after last night’s episode, it says “We are told that THE WWOW (you’re welcome for another terrible nickname) will square off against Regina, forming a new, formidable opponent to the Evil Queen, now that she and Rumple have made amends.” Not, “now that Rumple is gone/dead”. The fact that we haven’t seen pics of him makes even more sense now (I’m not sure if he’s back in Scotland or not, I did see a pic of him at the Vancouver festival a week or so ago but he could’ve flown back for that). They’re going to keep him hidden to add to the suspense. Or he has scenes in 312/313 that can be added in after he returns.
When’s Paleyfest? Is it before March 9th?
rumbelledearieParticipantAlright after having a night to sleep on it I’m still upset but I know that Rumple really isn’t dead. That would be suicide for the show and it’s supposed to be about happy endings – him saying “villains don’t get happy endings” should be a clue/foreshadowing that he’s not really dead, because this show is about proving the exact opposite of that. And how can there be a happy ending for Belle if her true love is dead?
And adding to the no body = no death, when Rumple killed the DO in “Desperate Souls” we saw the DO die and his body there. He didn’t disappear in a puff of smoke. So obviously this is different.
My main worry now is how long we’ll have to go in the second half without seeing Rumple. I hope we don’t have to wait til like the last episode, I hope he comes back in the first episode or two.
rumbelledearieParticipantI’m freaking out, but seriously, they can’t kill off Rumple. And Adam and Eddy said that Rumple and Belle will be in the same realm/land for the second half of the season. They can’t kill off half of a super couple on the show and one of it’s biggest stars. I just hope they realize he’s alive soon – what if a year goes by and Belle falls for someone else?!? I’m really not in the mood for yet another triangle.
We’ll have to get an answer/hint out of Adam about it at some point, I see a lot of people saying they’re going to stop watching if he’s really dead on twitter.
Ugh, I hate this uncertainty 🙁
rumbelledearieParticipantWhen we got the pics of Rumple stabbing Pan didn’t the description of what was going on say that Rumple comes up and the others seem to get frozen, and then after they’re unfrozen Belle falls down crying? So perhaps Rumple gets his powers back by the time he stabs Pan if he’s the one who freezes them. It could be Pan who does it but I think from the description he was caught off guard by Rumple so maybe not.
Although would LOVE it if Rumple stabs him while he’s still magic-less. It would show him being brave and strong and selfless without magic, which would be pretty awesome and empowering considering he’s always been a coward without it.
rumbelledearieParticipantAdam and Eddy said in an interview that the second half of the season would take place mainly in SB, with flashbacks to FTL. So although Regina says in the promo “everyone will go back to where they’re from” they obviously find a way to thwart that part of it.
I agree with heather I’m really not feeling the whole losing their memories thing, and I highly doubt that will happen to be honest. That’s wayyy too repetitive and would be kind of boring to watch again. I think whatever Regina is casting and whatever Rumple does with Pan will stop it, but we might be left hanging on what happens to Rumple/what state he’s left in (tears).
rumbelledearieParticipantAnd also, Belle and Neal are in those FTL pictures together, but if it’s an AU and he never went to NL then he would’ve died long before Belle was born right? Same with Regina and Snow and Charming and…well, everyone else lol. I mean Rumple met all of them 300 years (give or take a few years) after becoming the DO right? Unless in the AU Rumple made Neal immortal as well.
