I have been wondering this also. Before the curse was broken SB Belle did meet Mr. Gold. It was only for a brief time, but you would think that she would have remembered something about him. Personally, if I meet someone once and then I see them again later on I may not remember their name, but I remember that I at least met them. Belle did not seem to even do facial recognition at all. Yes, she was in shock after the accident but in the hospital room she should have recognized something familiar about him.
I really want to know a lot more about her SB self. I am sure if we knew more about that persona we would get it more. Looking forward to more Belle info!!

Out here in western Maine (somewhere near Storybrook Maine *hehehe*) it is now 12:05pm We are now less than 8 hours away from what seems to be the biggest episode of the series so far! For me it is Mr. Gold 100%. I love him because despite all of the evilness, he is doing it all for the love of his son. He became the Dark One to prevent his son from going into battle and getting killed. Although he is obsessed with the power he still feels he needs to protect his son. Unfortunately, he breaks his deal with Bae for power and then regrets it immediately and he spends an eternity searching for his son. Gold has so many layers and is so sweet and so evil at all at once. RC plays him so magnificently that every emotion is so raw and felt so deeply!! Long live Gold!!!
Hook, although he is a tasty snack 😉 , he is just plan evil and angry. 👿 He stole Rumple’s wife (even though she made it all too easy) and then wants vengeance on Rumple after Rumple kills her because Hook wants him “to know how it feels”. Hello!! Rumple lost his wife to him and he loved Milah so he obviously knows what it is like to losing someone.
