Hi. I’m a total spoiler geek too! I could spend hours searching the web for articles and interviews. Glad to meet you!
[adrotate group="5"]rumplegoldfankristiParticipantHi Ed. Glad to meet you! You might come in handy outside of OUaT!! My hubby might be taking a job on the east coast and we might be looking in the New Jersey or Philadelphia area for relocation. Coming from Indiana we are not familiar with the area at all so if you don’t mind, I might be asking for some advice on the area!
rumplegoldfankristiParticipantHi Nonnie. We will get along great! First, if you have a grandson that tells me you are not a teenager or a twenty-something so, as an almost 40 year old, it comforts me to know I am not the only middle aged woman around here obsessed with this show! Second I am also a huge fan of Bones, CSI, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, Castle – basically the crime shows. Glad to know you!
rumplegoldfankristiParticipantHi there. I’m right there with you on the Rumple/Gold character love as you can probably tell from my screen name. They are, by far, the BEST characters in my opinion.
rumplegoldfankristiParticipantHi there! Just wanted to say that I am a stay at home mom too. Nice to know that I’m not the only one around here!

Maybe that explains what Mr. Gold was doing when he was doing “a spot of gardening” in the forest. Maybe he was digging up FTL stuff that was mixed into the dirt in Storybrooke as the curse occured to bring back into his pawn shop. So maybe FTL is necessarily underneath Storybrooke, but just like the characters, is kind of a part of it? So yes, it’s destroyed in terms of the way it used to be but remnants of it still exist and might still be found throughout the series – maybe things that will be found will help to spark people’s memories?
Personally, I like the idea of the characters remembering who they are but choosing to remain as their “modern” selves reunited with their FTL significant others. That way the series can last longer!!
rumplegoldfankristiParticipantI’m not sure yet. It seems like there might be. I just re-watched the What Happened to Frederick episode and it seems like Catherine’s car accident was due to her trying to leave Storybrooke but her disappearance was due to Regina burning the letter she wrote to David. Also it seemed like AWB was adding pages to the book about Frederick and only after he added the pages to the book did the gym teacher version of Frederick appear in FTL. Almost like Frederick never existed before in FTL until AWB wrote him into the book but once he was written into the book – POOF – his Storybrooke equivalent appeared. Also the whole Windmill thing with David’s memory in Mr. Gold’s pawnshop – but Mr. Gold seemed to question whether David really remembered anything then. If there is magic – it is much more subtle than it was in FTL. I guess my bigger question is WHO has the ability to do magic in Storybrooke. It seems like if it exists in Storybrooke Regina is the one who has the ability to do it but it would seem like Mr. Gold should have the ability to do magic as well. Or maybe he can but is just pretending he can’t because he doesn’t want Regina to know he is still powerful in that way? In Skin Deep when he was in jail he told Regina that he was the one with the power in Storybrooke so there is obviously some kind of power struggle between the two of them, and I don’t think it is limited to the superficial mayor vs. town rich (and extremely good looking – oh my, did I just say that??) guy competition.

I wasn’t sure about this either but I just re-watched the What Happened to Frederick episode and now I’m pretty sure that FTL is under Storybrooke because when AWB is telling Emma about the water from the well he tells her that the water comes from a spring from a lake under the town of Storybrooke that will return to you something you have lost. This is obviously in reference to the magical lake that frees Frederick from his curse, so the lake is under Storybrooke.

I know – it almost pained me to write that, but I figure at least Belle and Rumple will live on forever in YouTube videos . . . sigh . . .
February 25, 2012 at 12:40 am in reply to: How WILL MM ,E, & D find out that they truly are related #137654rumplegoldfankristiParticipantI am completely obsessed with this show and am in the process of re-watching each episode and taking notes to make sure I’m not missing anything. I’ve noticed two or three times now where Henry has made some kind of comment about how Mary Margaret needs to stop chasing after David and let him chase after her, or she needs to stop looking for him and let him find her, or some variation of that. And in several episodes in Fairy Tale Land Snow White and Prince Charming have conversations both when they are first together in the forest and after they are married about how if Snow White ever needs him he will always find her and that he will keep looking for her. These comments and conversations happen so often they can’t be accidental, they have to have been put there for a reason. I think the only way David is going to remember who he is when he has a chance to really be a “Prince Charming” and have to look for and find Mary Margaret they way he had to look for and find Snow White in Fairy Tale Land. In fact, when I re-watched the Pilot Episode and saw the very beginning where Prince Charming finds Snow White in the coffin in the forest and kisses her and she wakes up I thought “That’s how they are going to end the series!” I wonder if they will have all the other Fairy Tale characters remembering who they are and back with their counterparts except Snow White and Prince Charming. Because when he kisses her she says “You found me.” and he says something like “Did you ever doubt me?” and she “Honestly? The coffin gave me pause.” and then he says “I told you that I would always find you.”
