Well. At least they answered fairly straightforward instead of trying to tease out a mystery they have no intention of exploring. That’s…new.

At the very least, there should be just enough food sources such as seaweed, insects, wild herbs and certain types of fungus for her to scrounge

    Yum!

I thought that Clarke’s mom had something wrong with her brain like Raven did and that was why she wanted to be left out of the bunker? That might have been fixed and i not remember though what with my lack of interest in the adults’ existence.

Right, because she and Raven were talking about it. But Raven also told Abby that there’s a cure, it works, and they’ll fix Abby. Then Abby tells Kane that she wants out of the bunker to die.

I know want to watch the pilot season of Doctor Who to see how the Doctor was with his first companion, his granddaughter, Susan.

It is so much fun watching the first Doctor. He’s so crotchety. I quite enjoy watching previous Doctors and seeing what qualities have changed, what has always stayed the same…

Agreed. 12 has a bit of 1 in him, like 11 had a bit of 2.

I know some will definitely disagree with me, but I could see the positives of Regina, Rumple and Hook spending some time away from their significant others

Agreed here. I’m really tired of romantic angst. I’m tired of what it does to the writing of the show and I’m tired of what it does to the fandom.

–I’m pretty intrigued by whatever is after Henry/Lucy in that first scene of the S6 finale. It seemed properly scary and after the let down that was the Black Fairy, I’d really like to see a terrifying big bad.

    – Judging from the promo, I think Clarke is going to be left behind. I don’t envy her, being completely alone on an irradiated world for five years. If everything so far hasn’t driven her insane, then this surely will.

I’m confused on how she’ll survive. Yes, nightblood will keep her alive from the radiation but what about food, water? I assume this death wave and following waves are going to wipe out animals.

    Huh.

Well, I’ll need a day or two before I can properly comment but the writers of the TV show did something extremely clever (and stomach churning) with Serena. In the novel she’s not given too much backstory outside of being a former TV evangelist but the TV show went in a whole other direction–they cast her in the mold of Ann Colter and Tomi Lahren and that ilk. It was effective and this was maybe the hardest episode to watch because it was all too *real*

I don’t want to have pity for Serena and fresh off of watching this episode I might hate her more than the Commander but still there’s some part of me that felt bad for her in certain moments. Complicated emotions.

I’ll try to post more properly soon!

I imagine they are going to do a time jump in between seasons.

Same. A five year jump. I’m nervous that someone is going to get left behind….

    [mod]

The amount of petty bickering, name calling, and personal attacks are getting alarming. Not kidding–knock it off and remain civil. You defend your position and point out flaws in other arguments not in the person, whichever side of this debate they are on.

    “The Chosen”

–A big ol BLAH to Jaha. I’m really glad he’s moving on after this season. He grates. His whole speech about how he can’t believe they are sending 364 of “our people” to die after they finally felt safe, unpacked their bags, chose their bunks…yeah because you and Clarke went rogue and took the bunker for Skaikru! He can’t even admit that he acted selfishly (which is perhaps understandable but selfish nonetheless)

–With that said, I was pleasantly (if such a word can be used here) surprised to see that Marcus was able to talk Jaha around. And the visual of Octavia standing amongst all the gas was powerful and painful.

–“I’m one of you? You made me hide under the floor; you floated my mother. I’m not hiding now.”

–“Not shooting me? Was the right choice.” I really enjoy Clarke and Bellamy’s dynamic. I don’t know if I ever want it to go full on romance but there’s no denying that they’ve been through a lot and there’s a connection there.

–Abby I get that you feel guilty–and that’s good because you should feel guilty for your (minor) role in Doorgate—but I’m fairly certain that the 1300 people in the bunker for the next 5 yrs are going to need a really competent doctor.

–Ahhhhh. So everyone piles into the bunker and the last remaining of the 100-kids go back into space. I have a bad feeling about this seeing the promo.

That’s great Rainbow I highly doubt it’s at the level where you can impact the ratings. Cause everyone I know and I know 100’s of people that watch this show in the GA have all quit and said S6 was their series finale. Because they think a show without Emma Swan is a complete joke and a waste of time.

Unless all these people you and Rainbow know have Neilsen boxes none of them will impact ratings.

Everyone needs to keep remembering that.
