KeymasterHere’s a link: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_591cb2eae4b03b485cae4b70 It seems very unclear what’s she is saying to me.
Yeah that’s like the most unclear statement on this yet
I actually just ran into one of the creators the other night,” she said, referring to either Edward Kitsis or Adam Horowitz. “They’ve gone seven years, that’s a long time. But there are a couple of cast members coming back for the final, final season. They keep calling it the final season, but it’s just going to keep on going.”

KeymasterScrewball Ninja had some issues with this aspect as well that raises more questions about this whole concept.
But there are more fundamental issues: like the fact that Emma apparently needs to “believe” in fairy tales/the book specifically or everything collapses. Does she need to believe during THIS curse in particular? Because Emma was cursed to normality in NY for a year and all the other realms kept on keeping on. And why does burning the book destroy the other realms? There’s a whole bunch of blank books in the Sorcerer’s Mansion (see: S5 finale); I thought the book just recorded what had already happened. And even if burning a book destroyed entire lands, shouldn’t that be something that’s established EARLIER IN THE SEASON, AND NOT IN THE SECOND PART OF THE FINALE? We see the BF try and get Emma to burn the book for an entire episode before we learn what that means. How can we care if we don’t know what’s at stake?

KeymasterI didn’t even realize they were supposed to be Klingons. I think they should just do makeup and forget the CGI.
Same! It took me way too long to realize they were Klingons. “Enterprise” did one thing well and that was establish, canonically, why the Klingons in ToS and TNG look different. At least stick with that.

KeymasterJamie Cheung just said she talked with Adam and Eddy yesterday and said this is the final season. What is the point of this? If it’s a “reboot” why the heck is it the final season. Just ugh.
Do you have a link for that? Tweet? Instagram?

KeymasterAnd they shared True Love’s kiss. How funny
Mmhm.
I mean Emma would share TLK with anyone. She’s literally True Love Incarnate. If, in S1, she went around and kissed everyone one by one, their curse would break one by one. It’s the same thing that happened in Firebird when CSers think they got TL confirmation but it was more that Emma would save anyone in that situation because 1) she’s a mostly decent person and 2) she’s TL incarnate.
Henry is her ultimate true love. With him she was able to break the whole curse. With him she was able to fulfill her role as savior in the finale.
Not with Hook. Not even with her mother and father.
With her child that she had with Neal. That’s true love. That’s destiny. That’s fate.

KeymasterI’ve watched it a few times now. I have things to say and I know I’m coming at it as someone who was raised on all the Trek’s and has a deep love of the franchise soooo….
1) Prequel why?! WHY?! Did they learn nothing from Enterprise?? Prequel’s don’t work for Trek. They just don’t. It should be about moving forward, not backward.
2) What the heck with the Klingons?
3) Lots of females is great and all but this is Star Trek; it should be incredibly progressive. Each show should build on what came before. We start with the All American corn-fed Captain, get the balding philosopher king, then an African-American Captain, and finally a woman (I’m ignoring Archer cause prequel). This is going to be the first new Star Trek in a very long time. It should absolutely push the envelope of being progressive. Queer, diverse, body positive, race positive, gender positive and every alphabet letter in that soup. A cast of just mostly human women doesn’t cut it for me. It shouldn’t cut it.
4) NO but really why is it a prequel?
5) The writers haven’t watched ToS have they cause “10 years before Kirk, Spock , and the Enterprise” doesn’t make canon sense. (Go watch the Cage, yo)
I’m going to watch it since it’s Trek but eeeeehhhhh. I’m not feeling happy.

KeymasterBut does’t that beg the question can you leave Rumbelle alone and have Rumple fulfill his main role which is to fill in as a villain when the arc villain isn’t enough? Even if Belle’s not there just the idea that Rumple is gonna black hat it up in S7 would put quite a damper on Rumbelle, no?
I wish they would either fully redeem him and make him a force of good or make him the main big bad to close out the show. I’m getting sick of him partnering up with the latest villain who strolls into town. Rumple is incredibly powerful. Who better to have as the final villain?
And the finale seemed to suggest that he was the final villain if the was the “Bad” to the good who made right choices. Except now we have another season with showrunners who are apparently conducting business as usual given some spoilers which is ultimately going to undo whatever Rumple just achieved.

KeymasterHow much longer until we get Bashir al Ghul?
I thought he was in the finale? It’ll be interesting to see the differences in story and portrayal between this version and Arrow’s version.
