Doing what though? Flirting and drinking and all that stuff? I actually thought that the musical scene with Hook was really out of character because he didn’t flirt with Snow.
My guess would be that they send him on a redemption arc but minus Emma?

GENERAL
There are basically three stories this week and they range in terms of quality: Riddler/Penguin (the very good); Baby!Batman/Clone!Baby!Batman (the okay); The Court of Owls/Jim Gordon (the dull).
LIKED
–“This is the one riddle that got away!” #HereForNygma
–CMS looks like he’s having the time of his life playing 100% looney-tunes Riddler; I love it.
–“There’s nothing wrong with being a freak. I’m a freak; Penguin’s a freak.” In its own way, this is really sweet moment between three villains.
–The heart to heart between Nygma and Jim was actually quite good. I like that Nygma’s transition to the Riddler isn’t just about him being crazy; it’s about betrayal and being treated as “different” and a freak by those he tried to friend. It goes hand in hand with what Ivy told Bridgette, “we’re like a family.”
–“There’s a question mark on your face.” “You can sleep in the freezer.”
MIXED
–Ed went to all the trouble of stamping tiny pills with the Riddler insignia. I mean, on the one hand that’s some serious commitment. On the other…LOL riiiiiiight.
–Did…Clone!Baby!Batman just push Baby!Catwoman out of a window…man, that escalated quickly.
DISLIKED
–The opening segment of Penguin and Ivy trucking through some crazy snowy never before seen mountain—Iron Fist called, they want their scenery back…? (No seriously, are they on the way to Kunlun-lite?)
–Can we please just get rid of Lee or send her off to NBC already? Man do I find her annoying with this whole “take down Jim Gordon” shtick.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Agreed. I don’t know what they’re going to do with Hook to be honest. His storyline from season 3 onwards became all about Emma, every thing he did revolved around Emma. Now, Emma is gone, so what is Hook going to do?
I wonder too. Hook just doesn’t have a plot outside of Emma, so what is he even going to do? I still don’t get how they have him interact with Regina and Rumpel and have that make sense.
Unless it’s not our Hook? It’s Wish Realm, Alt Reality, Hook? Which opens up the door for a whole new set of stories totally outside of Emma.

–Another good episode! I loved all the socio-political commentary on the faults of a capitalist society.
–I’m not sure what Nardole’s purpose is but he’s got good comedic timing with the Doctor and Bill
–Bill’s “death” was really well played and I got slightly choked up at her calling out for her mom.

–So….the Doctor’s….blind? Thoughts??!
–No but really, who is in that vault? I get the feeling it’s not Missy. I think it’s the Master but I don’t know why or where in his timestream.

They could very easily have gotten around that if they wanted to. We only ever saw a bag of bones, which could have been anyones. Belle is resourceful and may have gone into hiding.
Right. I don’t think the Wish Realm is a given; it’s still just a possible theory. We’ve been dead wrong so many times before and goodness knows they’ve brought back to life characters assumed or believed dead.
