RumplesGirl
KeymasterI am honestly very surprised. We all had her in our “returning” column because of what we had been hearing.

KeymasterCan I just pause here to point out how powerful the vows would have been had it been Neal and Emma had said, “then our son found me.”

KeymasterWho did she murder?
hmmmm….maybe she didn’t murder anyone…. Gideon was nowhere to be seen…. Maybe Rump casted it….
I was sorta under the impression that the show was trying to say that she didn’t need to murder anyone because of the amount of dark fairy dust? Which, yeah, doesn’t make any sense at all.

KeymasterWhy does she need to fight Emma
Yeah this is bothersome. Is it just because of the prophecy? The Black Fairy made herself into the woman with the crescent shaped mark so now she feels like she needs to kill herself a Savior? But why did she not go after Aladdin?

KeymasterYes it sure looks like Once will be getting a renewal, but really shouldn’t they have just come right out and called this the series finale and then announced that next season they would be premiering Once Upon a Time: The Next Generation?
Yes.

Keymaster2. So Emma’s vows where that even though she was born of true love she did not know she would ever find it herself. Okay Emma so how about Henry for one.
Yeaaaaah. Her vows angered me quite a bit. Especially since she opens with “then Henry found me” and it was all proceeded by Henry being the one to show her that she had a song in her heart from Snowing.

KeymasterI guess the Dark Curse this time around is really designed for one thing–to separate Emma from everyone. But doesn’t that feel totally underwhelming now that Emma has sung her way to togetherness? I mean, sure she’s separated but the song proves she’s not alone so that’s pretty much unnecessary.
I guess I just don’t get why the Black Fairy would want the curse to go forward if Emma has proved she’s not alone and thus unable to be heart-crushed.

KeymasterI like the location above Granny’s.
Was it Granny’s?? In some interview A and E said it was a new location. @MatthewPaul thought it might be the red brick building we’ve seen in some SB shots.

Keymaster“Rather gouge my eyes out with a fork!!” Why do I have a feeling that was more Bobby than Rumple?!!!
Because it’s absolutely Bobby telling the writers to take this idea of Rumple singing and bury it deep underground, lol. We all know Bobby can actually sing.

KeymasterFavorite Song:It’s a three way toss up between “Revenge is Gonna Be Mine,” “Powerful Magic,” and “Emma’s Theme.”
Least Favorite: “The Charmings vs the Evil Queen”
I think they pulled it off. It’s totally corny and cheesy and frankly the plot is overly silly but it’s good fun entertainment with some catchy songs that turn into ear worms. I don’t think they should ever attempt this kind of format again (go full on Galavant, in other words) but it was a well executed shake up.
