LOL at some of these titles. Cheese isn’t a bad thing but man is it high in this episode.

    1. “A Happy Beginning”: “The inspiration was that we wanted this wedding to not just be about the two of them — it’s about this whole town,” Kitsis shares of Emma and Killian’s special moment. “How everyone is facing this together and how this family has come together. So for us, we wanted it start with [Emma and Hook singing,] but then stretch out to everybody because that is the core of the show.”

    2. “Wicked Always Wins”: “It’s a solo for Zelena,” Horowitz reveals. “She is amazing and Rebecca [Mader] does a phenomenal job with that song. We don’t want to give away exactly what is going in it, but it’s all sort of pertaining to the stuff that is happening.”

“I would say that this is Zelena’s moment to shine,” Kitsis adds. “And she’s never been shy of the spotlight.”

3.”Powerful Magic”: “I think that what I love most about [Snow and Charming’s] duet is there is a very pilot feel to it in a sense,” Horowitz says. “[Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas] were so excited to do the musical that when you watch them do their duet — in fact, throughout the whole episode — their enthusiasm is like you can feel it. You see it on their face, and they’re so excited, and it really just makes them come alive. I don’t know how to describe it other than It’s the Snow and Charming you love the most.”

    4. “The Queen Sings”: “This is going to be an Evil Queen song,” Kitsis confirms. “I think one of the goals for this episode was if you watch Once Upon a Time, you know that a Rumpelstiltskin episode is much different in tone than a Snow and Charming episode, and we wanted the songs to reflect the people who are singing them.”

Kitsis continues, “So, ‘Wicked Always Wins’ is a Zelena song and the Evil Queen song is very much a Regina song. For the tone, I think we say it’s kind of David Bowie meets Rocky Horror.”

    5. “Emma’s Theme”: “Emma has a big solo,” Horowitz dishes before adding that Jennifer Morrison sounds “amazing” on the track. “It is a super emotional song that really — we hope — kind of expresses essence of the character and, in may ways, sums up her journey thus far.”

    The cheese factor is high….

Ratings are in for episode 6×19 “The Black Fairy”

    Demo: .9

    Live Eyeballs: 3.03 million

That is another .1 rise in the demo.

Episode 6×19 was the first week for OUAT to potentially make it on to the TVLine Scorecard but we did not fall into a category this week. Next week for sure.

Why wouldn’t they just use a bean? I mean this way before James destroyed all of them so they would have been hard to find but not impossible. She could have taken Rumple and herself to a land without magic.

Because A and E really really really like their PARRALLEZ

Do I think they may kill off Rumple, I am mentally preparing myself for it, but I think it would be LAZY writing and a rehash of season 2-3 which is not cool.

Oh it’s totally lazy and everything else you wrote above is spot on for why an alternative route would be better. BUT….A and E like their parallels and their circular story telling (or what they see as parallels and circular storytelling) even when it’s completely lazy. As good as this episode was, it’s also a rehash of several other stories (like Malcolm/Rumple, Rumple/Neal, Rumple/Gideon and even Cora/Regina/Zelena, Regina/Henry). They even had Rumple give a watered down version of his famous “because I’m a villain and villains don’t get happy endings!” to Fiona last night.

Also, here’s a question: how does Rumple know anything about his mother, the realm she inhabits, or that she can leave on occasion to steal babies?

    – Why does Black Fairy steal babies?????

Yeah I’m confused on this as well. Is she trying to replace Rumple? Is it to fill a hole in her heart?

    – I don’t understand savior mythology or how black fairy was planning on using the curse to save rumple.

I thinks the plan was to send baby Rumple to a land without magic, like Snowing eventually do with Emma and the wardrobe. Tiger Lily even points out that Fiona’s solution would send ALL the children to the LwM.

    – Fiona was not the greatest or most powerful evil ever. Not by  a long shot. Just saying, shes pretty mild. It still seems like Nimue has her beat, and given Nimue most likely predates her, Nimue is actually the original dark magic lady

Right like a few others have said, this basically makes no sense. We’re told time and time again that Black Fairy is the most eeeeeeevil of all time but she’s pretty young compared to Nimue or the Dark One’s Curse

Did the spell Snowing cast affect just the EF and Oz or more? Because Zelena is clearly singing in Oz.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF EMMA SWAN IF EVERY GREAT VILLAIN IS INTENDENED TO BE DEFEATED BY ANOTHER “SAVIOR”? Seriously, Cora was defeated by Snow, Pan by Regina/Rumple, Zelena by Regina, Ingrid by herself, Isaac by Regina, Dark Ones by Hook (even though he caused it), Hades by Zelena, so why is Emma called the savior when that title eventually ended after season 1?

    Quote

Yeah good point. A and E keep saying that Emma’s Saviorhood is more than just breaking that first Dark Curse. And now it looks like Rumple will be the one to stop Black Fairy.
