"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"It was fun to meet the Tin Man and see him with young Zelena, but their friendship was REALLY under developed. Even a throw away line that established they had been good friends for a long time after their first meeting would’ve helped. I an assume that they became good friends after that and spent time together, but that’s just my assumption. Otherwise, they just met one time, and he expects the WICKED Witch of the West to want to help him?
I felt the same way. It was super under developed because they went from meeting to him begging for help.

Then the bitterness turns her evil and maybe fairy Tigerlily tells her a about a magic whatever that can fix things and Black ends up evil as a result.
Seems about right.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"GENERAL: Well, it’s certainly better than last week’s horror. There are some really funny lines and Jamie Murray is doing great work as the Black Fairy but mostly I felt like this episode was a bit of a waste. The flashbacks are becoming more and more unnecessary and the show would be smart to do away with them altogether. Zelena’s story simply doesn’t resonate with me because she’s never been given much room to develop for longer than an episode–and chances are she reverts back the episode after her development.

–The visual of the Black Fairy standing up, laughing, and walking against Zelena’s magic was very effective.
–Fairly decent Lion CGI.
–“Why is it that even when your sister isn’t the villain we’re fighting…SHE’S THE VILLAIN WE’RE FIGHTING?” LOL!!!!!
MIXED
–I get Snow’s philosophy of living in the moment and trying to provide hope on the eve of the final battle but 1) does anyone in SB outside the CharMillStiltskins even know about the Final Battle and 2) it still means that one of the best fighters, archer, and sorceress are twiddling their thumbs will a Big Bad saunters around town.
–David’s philosophy is also perfectly valid and I like how he and Snow are on opposite sides of the argument. But we also know this is moot because the wedding is in two weeks
DISLIKED

–Emma’s coat is obnoxiously ugly.
–During the sneak peek I was really excited that Snow/Charming/CS invited Henry along for the wedding planning but I’m really bummed out that he was an afterthought, from Charming, when Henry needed a break in Authorhood. Like, come on! He’s Emma’s son. Inviting him should be a given.
–Crimson Heart. Ye gods. The MacGuffins this year are plentiful and annoying.
–Belle the Babysitter, once again.
–These flashbacks are totally pointless and unnecessary.

(Though, I do really dislike that headpiece thing)
