KeymasterCaptain Jack Harkness, and one of the characters from Class. Not really important, it is just a little of a curiosity to me.
I think they are considering Jack to be pansexual instead of bisexual. And with Class, maybe they just meant within the actual Doctor Who show, not the entire canon? I do agree they are rather limiting the definition of gay here, though.

KeymasterIt wasn’t clear to me she was a lesbian. IF she is a lesbian, as opposed to bisexual, is she not out to her foster-mom? Her mom said Bill had to be careful of men or something, and made a big deal out of the Doctor being her “foster-teacher” implying her mom thought something improper was happening (or pending). And I assume they are sorta-tight, considering it is strongly implied Bill is college-age, meaning over 18, and she is still living with her foster-mom.
I get the impression Bill’s foster mom doesn’t know/refuses to acknowledge that Bill is a lesbian. In the same scene you mention, Bill responds with something like “men are not what I’m looking at” or something. I don’t think she’s bisexual and in the press leading up to the premiere both Pearl Mackie and Steven Moffat say that Bill is the first openly gay character in the Whoverse.
And I think there are several indicators that Bill and her foster mom are not tight at all. The foster mom kept all those photos and never bothered to given them to Bill, even though Bill tells the Doctor in the scene before that she’s never seen a picture of her mom. Then there’s the Xmas incident where Bill gives her foster mom a really nice scarf and the foster mom gives Bill an envelope and some cash, as if there’s no thought involved and even Bill says something like “this should cover it” meaning the scarf. So clearly Bill put some thought and time and money into the scarf and the foster mom is just doing her due diligence. Then there’s the night the foster mom is at the bar and says “I think we both know it’s about time I treated myself” as if she’s been burdened for a long time. Taken separately they don’t add up but taken together they make for a less than ideal home life. Also, the reason why Bill is probably still living at home is financial, a lot like Rose who was likewise a working girl living at home. The difference is that Jackie and Rose had a fairly decent relationship.

KeymasterI guess the wedding happens but the Black Fairy interrupts it and this is where we get some sort of Alt-reality? Or whatever is going on for half the finale.

Keymaster“It’s okay. I didn’t exactly make it easy for you to tell me the truth” – Emma blaming herself about Hook lying to her.
Yeah. That.

KeymasterWas I the only one who felt religious symbolism when watching the scene with everyone drinking the sleeping curse to wake up Snow and Charming?
Nope.
It’s all over that scene. @Gaultheria mentions the number of people and there’s a heavy sense of the Communion in that moment. People gather together, remembering the “dead,” drink from a special vessel that houses a special liquid (depending on which side of Christianity you fall on, the wine/grape juice is either a metaphor for Christ’s blood or literally becomes Christ’s blood after the priest has blessed it).The Communion also serves as a way to link everyone together, a family united by a common belief in Jesus as the Savior.Regina all but said, “do this in remembrance of them.” Also, not only did Snow and Charming “die” and rise again but so did everyone else in that room, also fairy symbolic.

KeymasterHonestly at this point I don’t want Tiger Lily to appear again or have any significance in the story. Trying to explain her story is just going to turn into another Aladdin/Jasmine/Jafar storyline. I rather have Blue than Tiger Lily.
Yes agree. It really does feel like so many of the B-plots this year (Aladdin/Jasmine/Jafar; Tiger Lily; Charming’s father, ect) were ideas the writers have had for future seasons but now that the writing is on the wall in terms of longevity they are doing everything at once. Like a bucket list. But it makes the show so scattered and haphazard.

KeymasterI have a pointless question: Snowing remembered that stupid flower after the curse was broken, why didn’t the gang look for it in order to bring Emma and Snow back back in season 2? or Henry in season 3? or Anna in season 4? or Emma in season 5?
Or why did they wait this long to tell Emma? The Charmings have been in a good place, emotionally speaking, for awhile now.

KeymasterThat was the essential part of her accepting her role as the savior, the belief, not her age. In fact, Emma was always the savior since she was born because that is how Rumple had engineered it. Therefore, her age was irrelevant
Yes the age factor they randomly inserted was one of the dumbest things in an episode full of dumb things. 28 is just the age when she came to town.
