I have the feeling we learn this in one of the Belle/Gaston episodes? Or is that the 2nd Ogre War, and the first one has other reasons?

This is some bizarre revisionist history. They met once in the far past and it ended with Hook running away, Nemo getting stabbed, and more resentment between Hook and Liam 2.0 growing. It’s not like they meeting up for weekly coffee’s and pillages.
Also, like @slurpeez said elsewhere: Archie already gave Hook the best advice–tell the truth! Why does he have to seek out still *more* advice when the way forward is actually pretty gosh darn clear? It’s not like he hasn’t been in this whole “should I tell or shouldn’t I tell” situation with Emma and the various CharMillStiltskins before!
