Station 19, which is a new Shonda show and ABC’s great hope to replace flag ship Scandal, did a 1.2/1.1 in the demo which for a series premiere of a Shonda show isn’t pretty but not necessarily Dead on Arrival (which For the People was).
At this rate I don’t think ABC can afford to cancel two new shows–FtP is a goner so I can see S19 getting a second season if only to fill up the lineup of TGIT and keep it all Shonda (even if she’s cutting and running to Netflix…)

I don’t think it was Emma’s bug. I think she just remembered the picture Robyn showed her and wished her own version into existence.
I agree; I think she wished a bug identical to Emma’s into existence–which adds some more merit to @gaultheria’s theory.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"At the beginning they made a big deal about how the new season is about Henry and Cinderella but they are barely in any of the plot lines.
Honestly? I think the writers realized fairly early on that the Henry/Ella love story wasn’t shaping up to the epic true love story they wanted so they quickly inserted a necklace to prove true love, got them married off screen, and then poofed a baby into existence without any sort of real organic development.
And I think they are going to be leaning heavily on Alice and Robyn because Henry and Ella fizzled out.
