I don’t want Rumple and Hook to hug it out. They can have uneasy truce, begrudging respect for the other. They can even work together if necessary, but Rumple will never be able to make it up to Hook. I would never expect or want Charming to hug it out with Snow’s murderer. It makes the surviving partner look bad and weak and lets Rumple to literally get away with murder.
I had a little too much coffee this morning to really answer but let me try this again.
You’re right. My hug it out isn’t where it’s going to go. Obviously. I do think it will be an uneasy truce. I think they’ll come together more over Baelfire than anything else; they obviously both deeply care for him.
