I think MAP’s one mission is to get Neal outta FTL.
I posted this a page back but it got lost in naked tea-cozy wearing Mulan:
What if Neal and MAP go to the mines and get some fairy dust and then he uses the Swan necklace as his happy thought and that takes him to NL?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"In the past month (an estimate but I don’t want to dwell on the t-word), Neal has found out he’s a father, reunited unwillingly with his father, dealing with having his past lover who he still loves and his fiance both being in his life, betrayed and shot by said fiance, exchanged “I love you’s” with his former lover and then got sucked down a bean hole for the second time in his life. I really don’t think he’s going to set eyes on Mulan and think about her in a romantic way. She could, to borrow a quote from Ron Weasley, dance naked in front of him wearing a tea cozy and all he could would think about is getting back to Emma and Henry.

1) pixie dust
2) a happy thought
So what if Neal gets pixie dust from the mines in FTL and then the swan necklace is his happy thought and that takes him to NL?

Emma is very smart and can reason things out but this whole “fairy tale world/living for hundreds of years” thing is still *really* new to her. It has only been a few months since she broke the Curse and even started to believe in magic. She’s still coming to grips with Snow and Charming being her parents and Neal being Rumple’s son (and a few hundred years old). So she might not have connected the dots quite yet just because it isn’t something people normally think about.
With that said, I don’t think Emma will be overly freaked out by it. At least not in the long run. She might raise her eyebrows a bit, but she’s coming to grips with everything I listed above and with her own powers so her mind is slowly becoming more “fairy tale” as it were.

She and Aurora got pretty close and if they went off together on an adventure to find Philip, I’m betting their bond is even stronger. I don’t see Mulan suddenly wanting romance; I think her role this season (very brief role at that) is to help Neal heal and then get him back where he belongs.

However this is a little bothersome. They’ve said many times that you don’t have to watch WL in order to watch OUAT and vice versa. Having that level of cross over doesn’t fit with their statments.

Hmmmm. Maybe? I don’t know. She knows that Rumple is responsible for why Milah isn’t around anymore but I don’t know if she connected all the dots.
