KeymasterI completely agree, Slurpeez! Some people read Emma’s “machine mode” as only caring about how Neal’s “death” affected Henry and that as far as her relationship with Neal went, she wasn’t overly devastated. But watching that scene from 221 again, you can tell that the thought of losing Neal is horrifying to her, for HER self. When the last time Emma ever said she needed someone. To me that is more significant that the I love you.

KeymasterHmmm. She does look rather “merry men” doesn’t she? In the BBC version of RH there was a character named Jaq who everyone thought was a man at first but was really a woman in disguise.

KeymasterBut it’s not like Rumple, Hook and Bae ARE those ages. Rumple is not 300 years old, when the Dark One’s Curse leaves him he won’t age several hundred years. They were all just frozen at their respective ages for a long time. Rumple has been around for 300 years but he’s still about 45-50yrs old. The same with Hook and Neal. Hook is only about 30-ish but he was frozen for a long time. Neal is about 36-ish but he was frozen at the age of 14 for a long time.
Also, not to put too fine a point on this, but these are fairy tales where stuff like this is just part of the genre. In the real world, huge age differences are frowned upon but in fairy tales where often times people are cursed to not age this is just part of the trope.

KeymasterAll good point, Phee. I just hope they give us something new and twisty; despite what a lot of people think OUAT isn’t about making the Disney films into live action. The original story of TLM really lets A and E go any route they want and have it “fit” within the story.

Putting this here though it’s nothing big and we already knew this given episode 302 and 303 both have FTL flashbacks. (not sure about 304 or 305 )
