Keymaster…I don’t know if this was discussed or not, but does anyone think there’s a chance that maybe the Red Queen is Jafar’s master?
Maybe she wants Cyrus for whatever reason but instead has Jafar and made a deal with him that if he helps her capture Cyrus then she will free him. Just a thought.
I think given that this is show with Wonderland in the title, the RQ is the greater enemy.

KeymasterIf Regina is Ursula, do you think they will give Regina an Ursula look or do you think they’ll have Regina in EQ dresses just usurping Ursula’s place?
Or
What if Ursula does exist as her own character in the Onceverse but Regina gets to Ariel before Ursula does so essentially Regina is Ursula without actually being Ursula.
For the first part, I think they’d try to make Regina as Ursula as possible, if only because Lana is dying to do it.
But I also think the second part about being Ursula without being Ursula is possible.

KeymasterI think Pukhet could be a Pleasure Island for Adult August but the original Pleasure Island of wooden boy Pinocchio would be NL. I wonder if Pinocchio escaped NL by making a deal with PP, to work for him in the future. He was a young boy and far from home, often times they will say anything under duress. He may have thought nothing would ever come of it.

KeymasterThe Merfolk as lab experiments. That’s dark and twisty. I like it!

KeymasterA TON of us think NL is going to stand in for Pleasure Island and that Pinocchio actually went there during that part of his original story. I think after that THO kept a very close eye on him and used Pinocchio to do their bidding (metaphor alert! He’s a puppet after all). I think he was given orders to break up Neal and Emma and then ordered to go back to SB and make Emma believe in the Curse.

KeymasterEven if Cyrus isn’t THE genie we all know from the Disney film, Cyrus could still be Jafar’s genie nemesis. In the movie he wants the lamp so that he can use the Genie to grant his wish of taking over Agrabah. But somehow Cyrus and his bottle got out of Agrabah and ended up in WL where Alice frees (maybe?) him and they go adventure. Jafar learns of of this and strikes a deal with the RQ. She sends Cyrus over the cliff, Alice goes back to FictionalLondon and is put in the asylum. The RQ hands over Cyrus to Jafar who tries to use him but can’t because Cyrus has been freed by TL. Alice comes back to WL with the Knave and Bunny Rabbit to find Cyrus and free him from the clutches of Jafar and the RQ. Jafar realizes that he cannot control Cyrus until he also has control of Alice because their hearts are intertwined.
That’s a thought, at least.

KeymasterPeter Pan came to the nursery window to listen to Wendy’s stories. For me, this seems like it could be a pretty strong connection to who wrote the book- whether wendy or PP. For some reason, I think Tink will be involved too.
I’ve thought for quite some time now that the fairies, Tink and Blue, were responsible for writing the book. Maybe it was Pan who ordered the book to be written but Blue was feeding them information.
Fairy Dust vs. the power of Believing. I’m wondering if the Power of Believing is going to replace a certain emphasis on fairy dust in PP mythology.
I think both are going to play a role. Believing is going to be HUGE this season, as A and E have said. And I suspect that the way home to SB is with some pixie dust on the JR.

KeymasterOver in one of the WL threads, someone suggested that the Cave of Wonders might be a portal to another land as well.

KeymasterA and E rarely do Evil for the sake of Evil so I bet the merfolk do have a back story as to why they hate humans so much. Liam killing their Queen would do the trick. But Ariel knows it was an accident and refuses to take part in the drownings and is exiled out of her kingdom.

KeymasterWow that was a good. I may have to investigate that more.
