I went through TCA’s and CC and couldn’t find it. But it was after they announced Naveen as Jafar. Or Phee and I are hallucinating.
But yes, he does live in a bottle, not a lamp so I don’t think he is THE Genie but I’m betting he has history with Jafar nonetheless.

Didn’t they say that Cyrus is just a genie, their Genie, not THE GENIE of the lamp. If he was then this would fit together rather nicely, but I don’t get why Jafar is so against Alice and Cyrus if Cyrus is just an all original genie.

Also, Iracabeth is the name they give Tim Burton’s character who is an amalgam of both the RQ and the QoH. And I don’t know if that name is actually from Caroll as it was a play on the word “irascible.” Anyone know if it’s originally Carroll’s name for the RQ?

Quick Wikipedia glances tell me that Iracabeth is just a Burton name for the RQ/QoH character of HBC. So I don’t know if it’s her *real* name. In fact, I don’t think Carroll gave her a name.

Apparently Alice’s sister is nameless but has been given many names:
Alice’s beautiful older sister, who reads a book without illustrations or dialogue, sits on the bank with Alice at the beginning of the book. Alice falls asleep with her head in her sister’s lap and has the dream about Wonderland. When Alice awakes, she tells her sister about her dream, and the book closes with her sister daydreaming about what Alice will be like as a grown-up.
Some believe that she is named Lorina after Alice’s real-life sister. Her name was never revealed in Disney’s film, however she was named Mathilda in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. She is named Aida in the 1995 film. In the 2010 film she is married and her name is Margaret.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I’ve wondered before if the RQ and the QoH have an uneasy alliance. Cora was in WL for–what?–10 years? What if the RQ helped Cora secure the QoH throne in exchange for teaching her magic, especially the heart ripping trick.
As for Alice, the Knave and Cora, I’m not sure but my hesitancy stems from not having a timeline. I think it could work because what we know is: Alice goes to WL in the past (but not too past because she’s close to the same age she is now); meets Cyrus; world hops; is sent (forced? how did she get back to FLondon?); is locked up; breaks out; goes in search of Cyrus.
So part of her adventures with Cyrus could be getting the Knave’s heart back from Cora/the RQ.Random: does anyone remember if they told us the Red Queen’s real name?

I really wish I had an answer to that. But the back of my mind says that it’s perpetually Victorian London. I’m guessing this is one of those “it’s magic!” question and answers.
In the promo the Alice says to the Knave “I once helped you get your heart back” which to means that Will had an encounter with either Cora or Regina. But what on earth did he do to them to warrant heart ripping?
