I rather like the first one given that Blue is also known as Ruel Gorem which means Blue Star.
But I also wonder if it has something to do with their morals, ethics, and the way they practice magic. If fairies are supposed to be good and practice Light magic, then when they go Dark, are they no longer considered fairies by the rest of the fairy communitiy?

“What makes a fairy” seems to be a question the show is going to put forth. Thoughts? Obviously Tink and Blue come to mind. Is one of them more fairy than the other?

It’s all speculation but, as loathe as I am to admit this, the way people feel right now about Eric and where he should be or who he should be is, to some degree, steming from the quesiton of “who do you ship.” It’s wrong and it’s sad and I hate myself for it but it is playing a part. I’m sort of hoping that Eric spurned Ariel for Vanessa.
Okay this is way way out there but what if Hook was a merman! He left the sea to be free from his overbearing father, King Triton and is dumped by Ariel for Eric.
I know out there but fun to think about.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"@Runaroundmacy had a theory about a week or so back when we were speculating about Ariel that Eric was in the past and that he actually broke her heart. Like the Anderson story, Eric marries another woman (Vanessa) and leaves Ariel and she changed back to a mermaid. Maybe that’s the angle their going to go with here.
