KeymasterHe’s not only the product of magic, as in being raised by people who use magic, but he is literally the product of the most magical person in our show. Everyone else was taught magic, Emma simply IS.

Keymaster*sigh*
*goes to sit in corner because really liked idea and now has no ideas*
However, I don’t think Liam = Eric. Eric is going to be important, if he’s Hook or not because he’s the other half of the Ariel story and they would have said he would be a reoccurring role, not a one-off. So thus Hook’s biological/adopted father is more likely.

KeymasterBut we don’t need to see a red haired mermaid save him. Just the flip of a tail and Hook’s slight recollection that someone saved him and it was a female. It totally fits with the Disney movie! And then BOOM: mystery! Who saved Hook??

KeymasterIn my head the first Ariel episode is titled “Under the Sea” and her first real flashback is called “Part of Your World”

KeymasterOR, because my Hookriel headcanon refuses to shut up, what if the crew kills Liam and throws Hook overboard and he is rescued by a certain mermaid, but we never see her, just like in the movie Eric never really sees Ariel; he only hears her voice but it’s all very dream like. That might explain how he ended up in NL for brief amount of time. And if a group of pirates in NL (we know they are there) then took him in as their own and then he more or less “inherited” the JR because of his superior fighting skills and pirate abilities…ooooh. I like this.

KeymasterIt’s a symbolic reference to a storyline about someone being framed
Maybe that’s how Hook became a pirate, he was framed for something he didn’t do and had to run away to be a pirate. What if the crew mutinies against “Liam” and Hook has to flee for his life because the crew has somehow set it up that YoungHook will take the blame.
Does YoungHook still make sense now that we know “Devin” isn’t YoungHook? Is it possible that Hook became a pirate at a later age, that way they can have Colin play himself?"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI can’t find her on Twitter to check, but if the Young Seer did draw the picture then I suspect we wouldn’t see her until PP’s backstory, mostly likely episode 6 or 7 (the first half of PP’s story) and then episode 11 when we get the rest of it (or so says my own working of the season).

Pauline in Columbus, Ohio: Still squealing over the news that Joanna Garcia will be playing Ariel on Once! When will we see her?
We’re guessing episode six, since it is tentatively titled “Ariel.” A not-so-subtle hint, eh? And do you know what other Disney tale has mermaids in it? Peter Pan. We’re just saying.“Tentatively” titled “Ariel” because that’s what TVGuide called it.
