The problem with the Darlings is that by now they are dead since A and E have said many times that they were in RealLondon and not FictionalLondon where we *might* be able to get away with them still being alive. So it can’t be them.
I don’t know what they are going to do about the Lost Boys. From the sounds of their crying, there are quite a few but I can’t think of any good solution for them.

He’s Hook’s father, whether that means adopted or biological, I don’t know. I have certain headcanon issues here. But from what we know from other spoilers, 305 is going to be a Hook episode, so I don’t know if tying the Darlings back in makes any sense on this front. I would expect to see them in a PP episode of a young Bae episode.

Bae and Henry are from the same family, yes, but why the other Lost Boys if they are supposed to be from a certain descent. None of those, that we know of, are related to Rumple or Bae. Typically the Lost Boys are orphans or those who don’t have loving families.

Here are some other things to keep in mind: often times networks will keep shows that aren’t “powerhouses” because 1) they have nothing better to put on the air at that time and 2) the fans keep the show alive.
Ever heard of Fringe. It stayed on the air for 5 seasons with less than 5 million views per episode because of the fans. They literally kept it alive. The network and the actors all acknowledged it. OUAT has a strong fan base and ABC knows it. Our numbers aren’t what they were but they are nowhere near “cancel”

The fact that I didn’t think of this makes me want to go sit in a corner of shame!

–At least one of Baelfire’s time in NL
–At least one (I predict two) of PP and Tink
–At least one of Hook’s history with NL (which could be AdultHook or YoungHook)If Hook was a Lost Boy then he could potentially appear in all of those flashbacks though it makes my head hurt to think about the t-word.

OUAT was almost always the third most watched TV program on ABC, just behind Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy.
OUAT ranked 18th out of all possible network shows, which was over a hundred.
OUAT always averaged between 8-11 million viewers from week to week. Our live +7 numbers were always solid.
On some blogs/sites, people have already predicted that no matter what OUAT will return for S4 because of syndicaton rules.
The ratings system is changing to incorporate social media like Twitter, where OUAT is always pretty strong during the airing of the show.
A and E know that they stumbled a bit in S2 and they’ve already said they are streamlining the new season and returning focus on the cast.
All great TV shows go through this. I’m not going to worry at all until I start seeing ratings numbers for S3.

Regina probably sends her magic mirror’s head into the forest to see Snow sleeping and suffering because it makes Regina happy only to discover that Snow is awake, engaged to her TL, and plotting to take back the kingdom.
