RumplesGirl
Keymaster1) From that scene at D23 yesterday which we’ve now read about many many many times, including a blow by blow, Rumple has obviously been to NL before. He and Felix know each other, and Felix knows him as the Dark One. He calls him that. PP and Rumple have history, which implies they know each other. Now PP could have visited FTL, sure, but given that PP is tied to NL and the time difference being thrown around and the whole “not wanting to grow up” thing, it’s far more likely that Rumple went to NL, which again, was demonstarted by that scene.
2)
I think the chekov’s gun rule applies to it being Rumple as much as Bae–they did not show the token for either so it is a new object in either story. Sort of like the fail safe or bae’s shawl was not shown in season 1. This might be the first time we see it, then we get the backstory.
Great point! Like I said before, I’m fine with the doll belonging to either of them at this point. But because we assume Bae did not go to NL with the doll, it was made in NL and if that is the case, we do not know how Rumple would know that it was Bae’s.

KeymasterAlso remember Emma stating that only Hook and Regina have been to NL 🙂
That was JMo, not Emma. And we KNOW Rumple has been to NL before. A and E and RC have said so.
I’m still torn about the doll. I think both theories abut the doll being Bae and it being Rumple’s are very strong and I’d be happy with either. The doll just seems to invoke such powerful emotions in Rumple (a doll we’ve never seen before) that I lean more toward Rumple’s side. If this was Bae’s doll we’d have seen it before. Chekov’s gun theory, remember. The fact that we can’t place the doll means that we haven’t seen it before and thus we are not aware of WHY it causes Rumple such distress. That’s why I’m more on the Rumple theory bandwagon.
And yes, I’ll try but I think you guys give me too much credit with Adam. Honestly, he maybe answers 10% of the things I ask.

KeymasterI agree with KFC. I think this is a sign of how twisted PP really is. He looks like a 17 yr old, but he is obviously sadistic and they need to set that up if we are to really fear him.

KeymasterIf the doll is associated with Rumple’s mother, perhaps that was the time when Rumple was last truly happy. When his mother was alive and loved him.
I can’t even with the feels.

KeymasterA couple thoughts: on the one hand I don’t want Ariel to know Hook before we meet her because unrequited love + having to sit through a love triangle, feels cruel to Ariel, which is what I think PoM was getting at.
On the other hand, I really like the idea of Eric being someone from her past who hurt Ariel so that she is as damaged as Hook. They can help each other heal (Ariel from Eric, Hook from Milah) and thus Hook does not = Eric.
As to Wesley, a la Princess Bride, I can see them taking some sort of spin on that."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl

KeymasterLost Ones = those who freely work for PP, like Felix
Lost Boys = the young boys who are captured by the Shadow and brought to NL for a reason we do not yet know.Sounds about right to me.
And maybe the Lost Ones were Lost Boys at one point but decided to work for PP because he treats them better?

KeymasterHere’s my guess. Regina has a handheld mirror which she brings with her on her journeys. The actor who plays the magic mirror is there to be the voice/face of the genie in the shot as Regina looks in her handheld mirror.
that’s a pretty good guess. We’ve seen that the Genie can be in any mirror of Regina’s. In “The Thing You Love Most” he is even seen following her along a hall of mirrors, from one to the next.

KeymasterWell, I’m pretty sure Rufio is a code name for PP in which they’ve already cast him.

KeymasterI misread the scene, you’re right.
So his head is–what–do recon for Regina?
