KeymasterBut Greg is not Tamara; she has a history with him, he at least made her want children and some sort of family. They may come back into play when it comes time to deal with him.

KeymasterOooooh. Goodie!
So, Phee brought this up in a 303 thread but I wanted to put it here too. At SDCC, Lana spoiled that her favorite kill thus far as Regina was coming up and at that point they had only seen 301 and 302; I think this might lend more credence to the idea that 302 is at least in part a reference to Tamara, as many of us think Regina will kill her.

KeymasterLana did seem very certain that Regina had a big kill coming up, and at the time they’d only seen the first couple of scripts. I reckon they’ll wanna show us more of Tamara’s story still, but we’ve already got most of Greg’s, so he’s more expendable in the immediate future.
You know, I completely forgot about that spoiler from CC. Off topic, but I think Lana saying her favorite kill was coming up lends even more credence that 302 is in someway connected to Tamara.
If Regina does kill Tamara, which I think is very likely, what happens to Greg? She may not want to raise a hand against him given that she’s trying to redeem herself and she has already killed his father. But he’s not wholly innocent either. She may be perfectly happy to let Rumple take care of Greg. Or even PP. Send Greg back to PP with the knowledge that she has killed Tamara. PP riiiiiiiips off Greg’s shadow and more or less becomes his slave.

KeymasterSome how I think this going to be the final destination for GOAT. GOAT are going to be suprised when they find out who they working for. Probally they going to resist against PP. A part where we going to discover how dangerous PP can be and what his abilities are.
I agree. I don’t think GOAT, especially Tamara, will make it out of NL. Greg may get a chance at redemption because he is the more sympathetic character.

KeymasterMaybe, but I think the anti-love rule probably goes back further than Rumple’s Dark One curse.
I mean, the Blue Fairy is the oldest magic in the land (I think it was said that she was the original magic back in season 1), then she made the rule for a reason. As much as I don’t trust the Blue Fairy, I’d still like to see her backstory one day — which would probably be an “origin of it all” episode, maybe even the creation of fairytale land.
I agree with you, actually. I think the Dark One’s Curse is as old as Blue. Way older than Rumple and Zoso. I totally want to see her backstory because I think the creating of the Dark One’s curse is the beginning of “all magic comes with a price.” Let’s say Blue had a TL but that TL was dying. So she created a spell that would heal him but, as magic does, it had unintended consequences, namely it turned her TL into the First Dark One and also ageless. In order to rid the land of this new evil, she created “the Dark One’s knife” and put it in the hands of someone she thought she could trust, but there are more unintended consequences and so on and so forth. I don’t know what this has to do with PP and NL, if Blue is connected to them at all. I have far too many theories about Blue.

Keymasterwhich goes back to my statistic thing. If Nova and Dreamy were really in love and wanted to run off together, and there’s countless fairies and dwarves being hatched every few months — why should the Blue Fairy care? Because it goes against what they’re meant to do.
Pretty solid guess work! Nova’s role is to be a fairy, Grumpy’s is to be a miner; those are the the social and cultural roles that are laid out for them. They both have very important jobs and their own desires and dreams are held in a lesser degree to what they provide to the world at large.
But I always go back to how vehement Blue was against the two of them. If it’s true love, in a land where TL is held up as the most powerful magic of all, then shouldn’t there be a loophole or some sort of concession made in the name of true love? Dreamy I think was the episode where I really started to suspect Blue of being Sneaky Fairy.
Which brings me back to our larger question of love and fairies. We’ve often speculated that Blue (being super old) has something to do with the original Dark One’s curse and the man it first affected. Perhaps she is so anti-true love when it comes to fairies because of the price she paid in creating the Dark One’s Curse–namely, her love."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterOne of the henchman in the court of the Red Queen is my guess.

KeymasterAnother point, supporting ep 2. being a Tamara centric, Vasquez also wrote ‘Selfless, Brave & True’ which also showed her backstory last season. which has also been since then deleted from my DVR.
Which is why I’m a little worried about this episode. I think she also co-wrote “Tiny” which wasn’t my favorite episode either. S,B and T is my least favorite OUAT episode thus far but Chambliss has co-written some goodies (with his former writing partner) so hopefully this will be ok.

KeymasterOk, at the suggestion of Phee, I have moved this thread to General S3 spoilers so that we can update it throughout the season of who is on set. Any tweets or news or pictures about spotting the cast on set FOR ANY EPISODE should be placed here, unless they are very episode specific (for example VCF shots of a particular episode). Many thanks

KeymasterYes, it isn’t that magic has a price, it’s the spells and acts that have karamic impilications. Of course Rumple becoming the Dark One was going to have some sort of price, same with the casting of the Dark Curse, and all other big spells that affects many people.
