KeymasterWell, yes. It’s supposed to be completely analogous to what happened in Camelot. And it gets romanticized as “when you love someone, you’ll do anything for them, even go against their wishes and desires because you know what’s best for them, for you, and for the pair of you.”
Whether or not this constitutes a healthy, adult relationship—and whether the romanticized aspect applies equally to all ships on the show–is the sticking point.

KeymasterI thought it was interesting that there was a part of the park that wasn’t being used, as in maybe the guests become bored of it, where Dr Ford met with that woman and then they just tore it down.
Yes this is interesting as well. I have been trying to put myself in the mind of amusement parks and how they operate. When a ride is being torn down or revamped, that section of the park does get shut down. You can’t just wander around. The fact that there are hosts still there and that a restaurant is still open is equally fascinating. It either suggests that Dr. Ford really does see the Hosts as robots (why move them out of a area of the park that won’t be visited) OR that he’s so egotistical that he expects the reality to conform to his expectations (a god visiting Eden must have all the players in their proper places) even if it accomplishes no goal except to swell his already large ego.

Keymaster1) That’s a stunning pic of Lana and Sean
2)
They’re doing their own take on It’s A Wonderful Life. Regina is glimpsing at an alternate reality of some sort. Maybe one where she didn’t exist, or she made different decisions? This episode is also the last to air before Christmas, so it would be fitting.
Possibly if she didn’t become the EQ since this first half has been all about Regina v EQ

KeymasterAnyway, it looks like Notorious is our first cancelled ABC show of the Season, as its episode order has been cut down. Cut down episode orders for Freshmen series typically mean cancellation:
I wonder if Conviction isn’t far behind.

KeymasterCan someone clarify something for me: did Aladdin just become a “savior” when he touched the “diamond in the rough?” And did Jasmine know that was going to happen? If so, why didn’t she just take the diamond for herself and give herself the power?
1) I think the diamond “activated” his Saviorhood?
2) No idea at all
3) See above.
Was there an origin story about how Jafar actually became Jafar and how he got his staff? Did they tackle that in Wonderland bc that is something I’d like to see.
Yes they did tackle it in WL. Episode 104, which was one of the very best.

KeymasterAny chance Jafar was using the Oracle girl to disguise himself and now he’s using Aladdin. Maybe Aladdin in storybrooke is actually Jafar and that’s why he gave Emma the shears so she could do the same thing Aladdin did. Or maybe Aladdin is actually alive somewhere else and never used the shears!
Never thought of that but it would make sense if Jafar’s goal is to rid the world of Saviors. It’s pretty vague what his actual agenda is because so far he’s had little screen time (well, OUAT screentime. I knew exactly what he wanted in WL)

KeymasterI’m the last one to post this week, huh?
Well here go!
3×06 Thoughts!
GENERAL: FANTASTIC. This episode was non-stop and phenomenal. I have so many “likes” (and I apologize that most of them are Ed Nygma related and/or quotes–#SorryNotSorry). S3 is shaping up to be the best Gotham season yet.
LIKED
–Can we please keep the Mad Hatter??? Seriously, he’s SO GOOD.
–Nygmobblepot. OMG. I had the biggest smile on my face during Penguin’s one sided conversation with Olga about telling Ed how he feels. I sincerely doubt the show had Nygmobblepot in mind two years ago but those two just POP on screen. They’re so crazy and insanely watchable that you can’t help but root for them.
–Albino telling riddles = White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. (So Jim is Alice? Going to a Tea Party? My god that’s nuts. I love it)
–Nygma is such a great chief of staff that he gives Penguin’s assistant paperwork AND a bomb to deliver.
–“This covers your duties as Mayor. And this covers your duties as Kingpin of the Underworld.”
–“Great. I love children.” *hits self with paper*
–“…unnecessary”
–“Aubrey James is illiterate! It’s well documented.”
–“I continue to be in awe of you, Oswald.” Oh help. I’m falling hard here, guys.
–The *entire* tea party scene! I think I stopped breathing momentarily.
–Jim knew Jervis would shoot Mulan if he said Lee, right? Hence why Jim said “kill Lee.”
–“I love you!” TO AN EMPTY CHAIR.
MIXED
–I’m willing to wait and see what happens with Barnes because right now I’m really don’t care; there are far more interesting storylines.
–I wish the show had spent just a little more time with Jim and Mulan before getting to the “Sophie’s Choice” aspect. It would have raised the emotional stakes quite a bit if Jim and Mulan had more time together.
–“Isabella.” On the one hand, I liked Ms Kringle so to have someone who might resemble her back on the show is delightful. On the other hand, NYGMOBBLEPOT.
DISLIKED
–In spite of all the good (and there was a lot of good!) I wish the show could figure out what to do with Harvey Bullock; his storyline is non-existent.

KeymasterBut is Hook just sweaty or did he swim down there ? Maybe Nemo and his crew saved him from drowning.
The promo shows Hook going overboard the JR and the picked up by the Nautilus

KeymasterThe final adjusted ratings for ‘Street Rats’ are in. We remained on a 1.0.
Not surprising given the half hours. Hunker down everyone. With the World Series coming this weekend, I think we’re in for some ugly numbers.

KeymasterWHAT nationality is FLYNN? I was under the impression he was from some ex SOLVIET country…. but other have said he is American.
Goran Visnjic is Croatian, hence the accent.
