Speaking of Tink, I was thinking just before how there hasn’t been a casting call leaked for her, but you’d think they’d have begun that casting process by now.  If they’re gonna be hanging out in NL and encountering PP, you’d think that Tink would have to be around early in the season too.

That’s true! Maybe we won’t be seeing her until episode 3 so no casting call as of yet.

That pic Adam tweeted from 3×03 does have “wings” written on the same line as “people don’t believe”.  If Tink’s life in in danger though, she’s been holding on for a reeeaaaaallly long time.  I do think there has to be some mention of the connection between fairies and believing though, just going by Adam’s pic.

And people already believe in fairies. They all know Blue. So if this theory is correct, why is one fairy excluded from the belief.

I haven’t seen this theory anywhere else… I recall Adam and Edward indicating we would see Tinkerbell in Season 3, and she might have her own background story or arc. What if Henry’s heart is needed to save Tinkerbell’s life? In the Disney version, kids needed to clap or say “I believe in fairies” or something like that to save Tinkerbell after she drank poison. What if she needs the heart of the truest believer to be saved? A long time ago, PP may have obtained an image of Henry from Rumple, who is able to see into the future. If PP is able to “fly” into our world without the need of a bean, it makes sense why Rumple would want to negotiate with PP. That also plays into why PP is “complicated” and not just flat-out evil. He is trying to save his friend.

That’s interesting. But then why does he need all the other boys? He won’t let them go home and I think this means that while Henry is the ultimate need for PP, he still needs other boys for something.

Another little theory I’ve been toying with is that PP got wind of the fact that Wendy was looking for Bae, and he brought her to NL again to prevent her efforts, and she’s still there being held captive in present day.  That doesn’t answer how he could have gained control of THO in our world though, just how he could have known about it. Hmmm…I suppose there would have to be someone already on PP’s payroll who could infiltrate…maybe he sent Felix out of NL…he went to the remaining Darlings, pretending to be someone who knew how to find Wendy…and once he’d weaseled his way in, he took over.  Perhaps?

I do like the idea of Wendy still being around somehow because casting Freya (who is almost 20) as a 13 yr old was too mind boggling for her NOT to come back. I wonder if PP brought her back in order to be a “mother” to Henry until PP’s plans are ready. Wendy’s role in NL was as a mother figure to the Lost Boys but they didn’t get a chance to develop that with how they portrayed Wendy thus far.

My own personal thinking on THO has been that The Darlings founded it to find Bae and PP is the one currently in control of it, maybe with some Wizard of Oz (whose “magic” was really more like the “science” of illusion) and/or Dorothy thrown into the mix along the way, and your theory doesn’t really gel with that, but I’m not 100% committed to any one theory yet, and you’ve got some cool ideas here.

The problem I have with this is how did PP get a hold of THO if it was formed by the Darlings? When I originally thought they formed it, it was because I thought Wendy and her brothers were taken by PP but now we’ve seen that Bae sacrificed himself. I can see Wendy forming THO to find Bae, but how does PP play into it now? I’m always down with Dorothy being thrown into the mix. That’s one of my favorite theories, that she is running THO in this world.

I think the Home Office is whatever it needs to be in order to recruit people. For Tamara and Greg it needed to be an organization that says they want to eradicate magic. For others it could be an organization to help you find your lost loved ones. Whatever it needs to do to ensure your loyalty, it will be. As for who created it: I originally thought Wendy created it in order to find Bae but now I’m learning toward PP. He created it in order to find Henry by any means possible.

Writing the scripts is the easiest part. There is a lot of plotting and planning they have to do. The season before JUST ended like 2 months ago. They began to talk about S3 right before it ended but planning an entire season is a process and takes time. If they just sat down and wrote scripts, they would be bad and the show wouldn’t have any focus. And there are debates about, “do we X or do we do Y or A or B.” A and E have a lot to say and a lot to listen to. We’re on the outside looking in and to us it might seem like it should be easy and that the writers need to be doing something, but we have no idea what it takes to put a show together. A and E are doing just fine.  It’s like writing a novel. There are outlines and plots and threads you have to tie together.

Thus far only one actor, we think, has been recast and that’s totally out of A and E’s hands. If Tom Ellis has other commitments, they can’t do anything about that. He wasn’t a big character to begin with. We saw him for maybe 10 mins out of a 45 min episode. If he’s replaced for one episode, then fine. I understand if it bothers people, but it’s not like they replaced a core cast member. The casting call reads like it’s RH, but we don’t know for certain.

That’s true, but we still don’t know the specifics of how NL time works, or any what “time” there means. In the PP story, it isn’t that the sun doesn’t rise and set like it would in any other world, it’s biological time that stands still. You freeze as you are. But we know that celestial time moves, we saw Bae with Hook at night on his ship and then it was morning. We don’t know if it’s 24 hour/day but that time does pass somehow.

No TV show works like that. You plot and plan your entire season but you don’t write all the scripts at once. Somethings change, someone gets an idea that might change something a little bit. It happens. If you were to write everything out and then decide to change something that’s a lot of work. It has nothing to do with the writers not getting their act together. Every TV on braodcast TV works this way. But A and E probably know exactly where the season is going from start to finish.

The titles with hearts are all pretty specific to the character of that episode: Graham, Snow and Cora. This title might refer to one specific person (Henry, Tamara) or it could be a general theme. It’s the opening episode so it will probably not be centric to one person but focus on everyone.

Yes, I expect now that we have Regina, Rumple, and Hook united in a common alliance we may see our former villains unleash some pretty strong measures against the enemy. We will probably see them do plenty of things the Charmings might not be able to bring themselves to do.

And, further, the Charmings might ok with some of the things Hook, Rumple and Regina do because they want Henry back. I think a lot of S3 is going to be watching some of the heroes tread that fine line between good and evil.
